Description

OSC Premium New Automotive Radiator is designed to OES form and function. OSC radiators are technically advanced and made from premium grade Alcoa aluminum. The tubes are cadmium plated inside and out to prevent premature failure. OSC does not substitute aluminum coolers in place of Stainless Steel plate or Copper and Brass concentric coolers and they use a die cut gasket to ensure there are no leaks. Each radiator is individually pressure tested and engineered for multi-fit without compromising the look and fit. All necessary fittings or hardware are included in each unit. All units meet OES cooler design with copper concentric coolers and plate coolers where originally equipped.

  • Works like OEM (see update: not so much anymore)
Radiator cracked in my 2009 Jeep Wrangler at 99K miles and the local mechanic wanted North of $700 to replace it w/ a new thermostat. Based on the reviews, I took a chance and bought this. Aside from the joy (that's sarcasm) of getting everything disconnected and out of the way. I have never changed a radiator and relied on YouTube to get me through and this was pretty easy. If you have marginal DIY skills, this is something you can do. All in all, it's been holding up like a champ. I check on it every now and then - even driving with an ODBC Reader and the Torque App to monitor real time temps as I drive, though I am doing that less and less and eyeballing the temp gauge on the dashboard. I'll see how it holds up once I go off-roading and put it under some stress, but if you are on the fence - just do it. [UPDATE] It's been less than 2 years (about 19 months) and the radiator is leaking on the driver's side. Not a big leak at the moment, but that's how it starts. I was hoping to get at least 3 years out of this product and trying to change it in the dead of winter in Chicago is not going to be fun. I hope that I'm the exception and others are having better luck. ... show more

  • Take your time. Be patient. Everything doesn’t fit exactly, but it’s ok.
Not a bad install. Just a couple things that can be frustrating. 1. Starting the thread on the two bottom bolts , and driver side bolt from the ac condenser to the radiator can be tough. Super small spaces, and for the bottoms bolts you have to use an 8mm box wrench and it just takes time. For the driver side bolt you have to get an 8mm socket down by the horn and it’s a tight squeeze to get that to tighten up. I found that if you tighten the two 10mm bolts that hold the radiator in before you try that side bolt, it makes it a little bit easier and it gets everything to line up better. 2. With it being an aftermarket radiator, the plastic air duct flaps that you pull off the old radiator don’t fit exactly. You just have to make it work enough to where you can bolt in the four 8mm bolts at the top and bottom of the condenser. 3. My biggest mistake was gorgetting that this is an aftermarket part. Everything will not fit perfectly. When putting the fan shroud back on, you’ll get some resistance from the pegs where it should slide in on the radiator . I learned this the hard way and got the radiator all bolted in and thought that I had installed the wrong part. Took it back out, and with just a little pressure was able to get it to slide into the pegs...imagine the frustration!!!! If you can, just give a little pressure from the top and bottom of the shroud and it should pop right in. Take your time. You can do it! ... show more

  • Seems like an excellent radiator.
Perfect fit in 2008 Wrangler. No issues so far, its been in the truck about a month, and has seen some extreme heat and hard off-road. Edit November 6 - It has put a hard Southern California summer behind it including two hard offroad trips, and one camping trip up into the Sierra's... Still no issues at all with this radiator. ... show more

  • Was broken on delivery
Bought this to replace my leaking radiator on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler with just just over 30k miles (seriously, 30k and the rad leaks?!?). Did a quick inspection and comparison the day of delivery as I was going to need a free weekend and all looked good. Today was the first available, disassemble everything, remove my old rad, pull the new one out of the box, go to install the fan and one of the tab/hooks that hold the bottom of the fan shroud is broken off. Found the broken piece in the box and it wasn't a clean break as there were chunks missing like the plastic wasn't formed correctly or had air pockets. Made a snap decision as my vehicle was in pieces and undriveable to rig it up with glue and zip ties to hold that corner in place rather then return. Other than that everything fits, bolt holes lined up, and doesn't seem to be leaking. But I now question the overall quality and quality control seeing the plastic in the broken area. I also obviously received a defective product and didn't receive full value for my purchase. ... show more

  • Make this purchase and read the reviews.
So I put one of these in my 2008 Wrangler X about 2 months ago. It has worked like a champ from the start. *** Read all reviews before starting. The only thing I didn't see in the reviews that would help was that you should pre thread the holes with your screws because the plastic is not threaded and when you try to install it in the front of the Jeep there is limited space so it's very difficult to thread the plastic. I didnt take it back I out to do that and my screws are not 90 deg because of that. You will thank me after you do it, as it was really hard to hand and then wrench drive those screws because you can't get a socket in there. ... show more

  • Great Price
I was looking for awhile, the price vs. the reviews on this were too good to pass up, usually you get what you pay for so I was worried about holes etc lining up on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler JKU. I looked up the manufacturer, they look legit have a good site etc, it comes with a cap as well so I took the chance. The first radiator I got came with a hole through the box and damage to the unit, I refused the delivery and amazon sent me a replacement no questions asked. The whole removal process is easy, when you take the old one out, you need to re-use 4 plastic washers/bumpers 2 round washers on top, 2 square bumpers on mid/bottom. Getting the new one back in place took the longest, that requires patience which I have limited amounts of. Finally got it in. I think those stupid plastic wind flaps or guards cause me a lot of headache, I ended up putting them back on but almost wanted to throw them out. It's a pain to reach some of the holes to reconnect it but resist the urge to tighten anything too much, it seemed like things were not lining up but I got them after awhile, they were actually perfect. the AC condenser screw had to be tightening pretty hard to get the drivers side holes to actually line up, so I would start there if your having issues. Also those wind flaps are supposed to be installed before you start line up any holes and put any screws in, which is a PITA that's why I put mine back on later and just kinda left them where they were. I'm impressed so far. Good Luck. ... show more
