The media could not be loaded. First of all wow! What a difference this needle made to my vintage vinyl! Sounds like CD quality now and we hear so much more of the subtleties of the records. I put on Stevie Wonder Innervision which My mom bought new way back when and I have been playing that album since the 80s on various record players and I have to say once I put this needle in that record my wife and I heard the lyrics better and all the little subtle things about the songs we have never heard before. It is a game changer and worth the price because it has made all my vintage vinyl sound amazing and brand new. Also all the pops and noise has disappeared! Super easy to install as well! I did a video of Santana record and you can see I have a Sony pS-LX350H which is a medium end record player but now it sounds like one twice as expensive! Purchased this elliptical versus scratch model purposefully, to get high sound quality from my Technics 1210 MKII. If I want to mix, I will purchase a pair of the 'scratch' model. Do not scratch or back-queue with this model, it is intended for sound quality. I highly recommend researching each of the Ortofon models to understand their purpose, they are not all the same. This cartridge sounds absolutely amazing! Almost zero background noise, it's dead quiet. And I'm just using a 15-year-old Nurmark DJ mixer, not an audiophile phono stage! The sounds reproduction is engaging & full of energy, this cartridge has richly surpassed my expectations. If you want to just play records, not mix them, & don't want to mess with headshell config, I can't recommend this more. After mounting the Club cart to my turntable I noticed a huge improvement in sound quality. I’ve always experienced feed back when pushing bass too high on my setup which I attributed to my turntable but was thrilled that the issue was completely eliminated with this cartridge.     • This is an audiophile cartridge in disguise!
I have a number of higher end MM cartridges and bought this becuase I was interested in what a DJ catridge sounded like. It sounds fantastic and reminds me of vintage Shures I've owned. Very clear, no sibilance at 3 grams. Nicely done. Great for playing 70s records from the used/worn bins.
