  • Would buy again!
Size: Small Color: Black
So pleased with this coat! I am 5’4 and 132 pounds and went with the small. I was between Small and M and definitely happy I went with S because I think M would’ve been more baggy than I wanted. It doesn’t fit tight in the sleeves at all like I read in other reviews. It seems very cozy and I loved the inside lining as well. So glad I got this, it had been on my wish list for months! Probably would purchase again in another color as well ... show more

  • Comfy, stylish, warm, and affordable
Size: XX-Large Color: Black
2021 update — loved my old jacket so much that I decided after 2 1/2 years to buy another one. Then they went on sale, so I bought two! They arrived quickly packed in little bags to compress and protect them. There are a few differences from my old one. Sizing seems more accurate. I previously sized up, but the coat still felt a little skimpy in the arms and at the hip. These are the same size but much roomier. Not sure if the old one was sized incorrectly, or if they’ve adjusted due to customer feedback. These will be far more comfortable and leave room for a bulky sweater or a wool jacket underneath. I was thinking of returning them for my usual size since these seem a bit puffier due to added material and the front zippers are a bit more prominent, but I think these will be a lot better for commuting … I no longer need to unzip the sides to sit down. The other differences I noticed were these have a silver and black interior at the back so the lining isn’t all orange anymore … and in the navy blue one, the orange fabric lining is stamped Orolay all over— Perhaps this is an anti counterfeit measure? The red one has the same black with silver dot section of lining, but the orange part is logo-less. Speaking of logos, the navy coat also has an Orolay logo on the sleeve ( the red one and my old black one do not). I’m not a fan of clothing with obvious logos, but this is fairly discreet and not a deal breaker. I’m guessing the red coat I got was older stock and the blue one is newer —or it’s possible the navy one is a fake. Stamping Orolay all over might be overcompensation! The collar label is completely different and it doesn’t have a catchy saying on it like the other ones do…it just says “Made in China.” It would be interesting to hear from the manufacturer when/if this change in design occurred. Another difference is the new ones both have an interior chest pocket. All said, I think these are great coats. Hoping I get as much wear and enjoyment from them as I did from my original. I’d be curious to know how to brighten up the “fleece” hood lining without washing the full garment — I doubt it would survive our washing machines, but compared to the new ones, it looks a bit dingy. All said, I’d give these coats an enthusiastic thumbs up. Old review follows, below: Love the jacket's styling and the construction seems sturdy. Very comfortable and warm when it's cold outside, but still wearable indoors while shopping or in milder spring weather. I didn't feel overheated ( but did need to unzip!) The down seems well distributed, and so far it hasn't been coming out. the parachute-like cloth exterior seems sturdy, and I really like the orange lining. Some stitching seemed a bit loose and one snap seemed fragile, but I generally think it's well made. I really like the look of the big hood as a wide collar, and the pockets are handy. I sized up and it fits fine, tho I wish it were a few inches longer. ( it hits me just below the thigh at front, but it's about 2 inches longer in the back, so wearing leggings is still an option. . It feels much less bulky than other down jackets I've owned -much narrower in the arms and shoulders so it gives less of a "Michelin man" round silhouette. It hangs very nicely as an open jacket. When zipped up It feels a bit snug at the hip for me, but the extra zippers at the side can be opened for a slightly looser fit. Suggest buyers go up one or two sizes, depending on whether or not you plan to wear bulky clothing, especially jackets or sweaters, underneath, or if you prefer a loose fit. As others have said, the zippers are a little sticky, and there are some weird ribbons (zipper pulls?) that dangle. Not sure how long they'll last. But otherwise, I'm very pleased with it. I've already gotten several compliments- and several people I know are planning to get one ( or one in a similar style). Price point makes this a no brainer- if you're on the fence, just buy it! You will definitely enjoy it. And at the rate this winter has been going, you may be able to wear it until May! ... show more

  • Perfectly flattering! Bought as maternity coat, but will keep in closet forever!
Size: Large Color: Green
LOVE THIS COAT! I'd absolutely recommend, and would buy again in a heartbeat. I am currently 7 months pregnant and bought this coat a month ago, wearing it non-stop since it arrived. It's delightful! I was so skeptical of an affordable garment with so many positive reviews, but I can't imagine a better coat for the price. The bonus is that it's versatile enough to wear through my pregnancy, but stay in my closet permanently. For reference, I am 5'3". Pre-pregnancy, I weighed 150 and wore size M-L shirts with a 36-D bra, and size 10 pants. I am now 7 months pregnant and weigh 175. The size Large fits me as perfectly. Well, as perfectly as any other garment does at this point, even with my big belly! The coat is just constructed in a really intelligent way to look drapey and casual with room for my curvy parts, but still giving me a really long profile that makes me look and feeler taller and slimmer. Plenty of room even still for my chest to get bigger, gain more weight all around, and for my belly to grow. My arm or shoulders are not restricted at all, even when lifting my arms up, driving, lifting or chasing my toddler. I've worn it with bulky sweaters/hoodies underneath, scarves, gloves, the whole winter kit, and it still has room to move and be a human. It's also warm enough that I've worn it with just a t-shirt and leggings underneath and felt toasty warm, and the look or feel of the coat still wasn't too big. Don't be scared off by how much room I'm bragging about! It's not that this size Large is so gigantic, it's just that unlike most other winter coats I've tried, there is actually versatile construction that takes into account the fact that women do have shoulders and arms, and parts of our bodies that are curvier. Even if you were a taller or thinner person, this would drape in a flattering way. There are side panels that unzip all the way up to your hips allowing for a bit more flexibility, and while there is still a panel of fabric holding the the unzipped area together, it's still helpful. There is also a row of snaps on either side of the zipper that can be unsnapped to allow for extra room along your belly and chest without changing the look of the jacket much at all. The pockets are slightly above your hips so there isn't a strange pulling on your hips when your hands/items are in your pockets like in many other coats. There are two huge utility pockets around the waistline that zip up and fit things like your cell phone/small wallet/phone perfectly. See? It's just smart. I do imagine that in a few weeks, I'll have trouble sitting in my car with the coat zipped up, even with the side panels unzipped for that extra bit of room. That's not particularly a problem, though. It will warm up in chilly Kansas City eventually, and I have plenty of room in the coat to wear layers to keep the chill away for the short periods when I may have to move around unzipped when my belly is just so big. For the price, I'd honestly consider buying one size up if I ended up outgrowing the jacket before the baby is born in spring and just donating it when I no longer needed it. If you can only afford one coat and you are just starting your pregnancy, or are already far enough along to have a huge belly, I'd order up a size from your normal measurements just to assure you'd be able to sit down while zipped up without pulling the jacket a little higher on your hips. It might look a bit too big at the beginning, or might not be as flattering post-pregnancy, but not everyone has the luxury of buying multiple specialty items during a pregnancy and your normal non-maternity size might not work as well for you. Bonus- I am usually very allergic to goose and duck down, but the down feathers used in this coat seem to be very clean. I've had no sensitivity to the feathers! It's hard to beat down for warmth, and I'm so glad to have found genuine and clean down for a wildly low price. ... show more

  • Great coat!
Size: Medium Color: Green
I've seen this coat on many different social media platforms and finally pulled the trigger. I'm so glad I did! It's warm and great quality. I love the olive green color with the pops of orange inside and the soft sherpa of the hood lining. I purchased it late winter so I'm looking forward to cold weather so I can wear it again. I'm 5'9" and it's plenty long covering my behind and keeping me warm. ... show more

  • Met and exceeded my expectations
Size: XX-Large Color: Black
I'm 5'1". I wanted a well-made coat for very cold weather. It's perfect. High quality. I'd buy it again. In fact, I did buy it again. :) I sent it back for one size smaller. VERY happy with this coat.

  • Excelente calidad.
Size: Small Color: Black
