She began to define beauty by what she was seeing everyday. Very quickly, she didn't find her skin tone or curly hair beautiful. This broke my heart. While shopping, I found it nearly impossible to find dolls that were as diverse as black and brown girls are - from the tone of their skin to the different curl pattern hair.
