This kit does not come with the specific three prong apple screwdriver that you need and it is extremely difficult to take the phone apart unless you have a sautering tool. I broke my phone trying to use this kit and wound up having to pay a lot more. I tried to make myself feel more comfortable by focusing only on the positive reviews. Works perfect, packaged perfectly, and even the screen protector is nice. I've replaced a lot of iphone screens and this provided the best, most complete tools. The written instructions (with pictures) is nice, but I also needed a supplemental YouTube video.

    • No screw driver with Y shape (needed for IPhone XR internal screws).
This kit does not include the Y shaped screw driver that is needed to remove the plates so you can separate the cables between the screen and the body. Without that, you can’t even start working in removing the glass.

    • Everything came perfect just need better tools
Cheap screw driver couldn’t even open it and I think I strip my screws

    • Replacing just the glass is a lot more intimidating that just replacing the entire assembly.
The product came quickly and had some really nice tools, but they forgot to include the 3M adhesive tape. I also had trouble finding a good you tube video on how to just replace the glass piece. I've replaced the entire LCD assembly on many iPhones and iPads now, but didn't have a high comfort level with separating just the glass the rest of the assembly without seeing some better videos on how to do it. ... show more

    • Does not work on iPhone 7
We bought this to fix our i Phone 7 but it did not work. I am disappointed since we used this to repair an iPhone 6 and it worked. There should be a warning that it doesn't work on 7s because the phone construction is different.
