Bought 2 and compared to an original they are slightly different: slightly longer, smoother plastic texture, and label on the bottom is different. But SWR was ~ 1.3 on VHF and 1.1 on UHF so they should work ok. Have not compared actual range to original. It seems I got a couple of good ones, better luck than other buyers. But would not recommend unless you have a way to test the ones you get, either SWR meter or network analyzer like NanoVNA (which I bought on Amazon and like a lot). ... show more

Fits right onto my Baofeng UV 5R no problems, can now hear transmissions and transmit with ease. My previous antenna was 4 years old and worn from heavy use.

The pair I received are Baofeng and work perfectly. They aren’t the best for long range but work just fine for boat to boat communications while coordinating filming.
