This is a great product option for women looking for something that is healthy, earth-friendly and without any sort of dyes or chemicals that are harsh and potentially absorbable. The pads work great with plenty of absorbency, the safe comfort of 100% organic cotton and only 100% organic cotton, and wings for extra protection. I had been using Natracare, but developed an allergy to the wood pulp used in the product, so when I came across Organyc, I was quite excited. The product works great; now, I wish they sold it in stores. The only downside is that I requested a sample from the company, as promoted on their website, and never received one. I contacted the distributor and got a response, but never got the sample. The other flip side is they only come in a ten pack (you get two when buying them here). I just decided to buy them from Amazon to give them a try. Wonderfully, the product is eligible for Super Saver free shipping (and you can set up a recurring shipment that also has free shipping, if you don't want to have to spend $25 to get the free shipping) and the products are really great. I would and will buy them again and again. Update: August 16, 2010 - About a week ago, I received a really nice email from someone at the Organyc corporate office in Italy. They had read my review and apologized for my missing sample. I thought it was really kind and thoughtful that they would take the time to email me and offer to send me a sample even after I had already tried the product and loved it! Yesterday, I received a Fed Ex box with not only my original sample request, but samples of their other products, as well! Four different samples of various products, of which, as I use, I will be more than glad to update this review and let you all know how they are. I am grateful for a business who really does care about their customers and showed great service in rectifying a probable oversight. I will definitely buy from this company without a second thought and as much as I love amazon.com, I hope their products arrive in U.S. stores soon because it's nice to support a company that cares. ... show more

I like the fact that they are cotton and organic fiber. My skin is sensitive and these don't irritate. I actually use them for extra protection when i'm commuting. I have over an hour drive and don't want to worry about little leaks staining my clothes cause I do drink my share of coffee; bladder can't hold much these days, ugh.. anyway, can't really comment on absorbency for menstrual flow, but I suspect they will do the job without worrying about extra chemicals in your pads..we have enough pollutes to deal with. ... show more

Great product. These pads are not irritating, unlike most store-bought pads. They are particularly good for use after delivery. The whole range of Organyc products are as absorbant as you might expect based on their descriptions. I took a star off because of their cost, but I'm not sure that I could find them more cheaply than on Amazon (and after labor, it's not like I want to go searching in local stores either). Either way, you get what you pay for, and these pads are much better than the cheaper brands. ... show more

I love these pads, they are a great size (probably not for night use -- get the 4 drop flow size for that) and they are actually 100% cotton EVERYWHERE. I used to try to buy 100% cotton pads but then after reading more into them and actually feeling them, I realized that it was only the liner that was 100% cotton and not every square inch of the pad -- these are not this case. They are genuinely entirely cotton and EXACTLY what I needed :) They are really comfortable and I just don't buy any other pads now (just these!). I highly recommend them! ... show more

I was really hoping that these organic and affordable pads will work for me but unfortunately they didn't. They are very thin, don't stick very well on the panties and they are only able to observe the last day of my period. I would like to note that my periods are quite light so for ladies who have medium or heavy periods is a definite no no! I didn't have any irritation problem with commercial brands. I simply wanted to 1. protect myself from harmful chemicals (BPA, dioxin, Furan) and 2. protect the earth (biodegradable waste). However, after a few days of using this product, I went back to commercial product. Pros: Product is light and thin hence not bulky or plastic feeling. It has wings. The adhesive strip comes off easily. Cons: 1. Not available in local pharmacy. 2. It was not absorbent enough for the heavy days. I had to change several times. I felt intense moisture, leaked, and was afraid of getting up, which I haven't experienced since my teens. 3. It isn't cost effective if I am changing so often. I ran out and had to use my commercial brand. 4. Didn't like the smell of the napkin. ... show more

So far, this is the best alternative to the standard maxi. These are super comfortable, gentle, and they work, too. I love that they are natural and made of cotton - you can even compost them, somehow. Don't know how that works, but it sounds good! The only issue I had with these is that you do have to change them more frequently and the regular doesn't work as well overnight as conventional pads. I'm sure that using the overnight pads would solve that issue. Overall, I really love these - it's hard wearing the standard after trying these! And I like knowing that there aren't dangerous chemicals seeping into my most delicate of areas ;) ... show more

These are amazing. Normally I dont wear pads because my skin breaks out so badly no matter how often I change them. However having a baby you have to wear them so grateful I found these. They actually feel like you are not wearing anything. Super soft and comfortable. They did not bother my super sensitive skin at all. I did not have any leaks or negative issues while using these. I did not feel sweaty or like I was wearing anything super bulky. I will be buying these again. ... show more
