Heard lots about mushroom coffee . . . did a lot of research . . . Pella is way less expensive than Ryze . . and I like the way it makes me feel. Energized but not jittery. Positive and good. Taste is okay, not great. It dissolves easily in hot water. I will buy this product again, and I have told other people about it. ... show more

    • This Might be Good for Some but Not All!
First I will say the flavor was pretty good, wasn't at all what I expected and did taste like coffee, not mushrooms. The bad news for me was that even though I love mushrooms, and eat all sorts of them, this did not work well for me. I drank 1 cup in the morning for three days. The first day my stomach did not feel all that good but I didn't equate it to the coffee. On the 2nd day my stomach was so bloated and distended it hurt, and on the 3rd day my stomach was so distended, it hurt to touch and literally felt like a balloon ready to pop. I stopped drinking it on the 4th day and by the 5th my stomach was back to being okay. ... show more

Love the product. I am disabled and this is so much easier for me to do for myself than traditional coffee maker, etc. WITHOUT sacrificing the coffee drinking experience. I also feel that it curbs cravings for snack. Really like product.

    • I'm not dropping things as much
I've been on mushroom coffee for about 2 weeks now. I recently turned 53 and brain fog forgetfulness and the dropsies are part of my daily life. Until I made this coffee part of my morning routine. I was surprised at the prolonged alert effect. It's subtle because it's a different type of alert than what regular caffeine gives you. It's just a natural awake feeling that lasts and I found myself remembering things like the code to my storage and where I put my keys. It's been 2 weeks and now I am noticing that I don't drop things as badly as I used to. I can't even remember the last time I took a shower that I didn't drop my shampoo bar or the lid to my face wash. So I started paying attention and realized that I had not dropped a single thing in a few days. My roommates literally don't let me use the glasses and glass dishes anymore. Those are the wonderful side effects. I would also like to say that the coffee is economical compared to other brands. It blends well and did not leave residue in the bottom of my cup. I don't use the hand blender. I put mine in a magic bullet. I use vanilla extract nutmeg half and half and liquid sucralose drops to make a latte every morning that I literally look forward to having. I'm not going to deduct a star from it but the Ziplock closure pulled apart the very first day so I have to use a chip clip to keep it closed. You might want to put it in an airtight container. This product has fairly good taste. The one thing I don't care for is that the flavor of the soil came through. This sometimes happens with muchrooms.
