As for the sizing, my foot measures near 10.5 inches. So I took a chance and sized up to size 11, and am completely satisfied. Note: I'm not using these shoes for any form of intense athletics that need a snug or tight fit. I ordered them because a Physical Therapist recommended walking barefoot as a method of rehab. So I am happy with the shoes allowing my feet and toes to stretch and walk with a near barefoot feel. I am a "free skater" (picture riding two tiny skateboards at the same time) and I found that these shoes really let me feel the boards below my feet. I get extra control and can put the weight onto specific parts of my foot, like the heel or the ball. When I have to hop off my skates, they conform to rocky and rough terrain very well. It is by far the most comfortable barefoot shoe that I've purchased. It's a snug fit on top. Incredibly soft. They're more padded than many barefoot shoes which I like a little more cushion which is nice. The most significant drawback is the ridiculous tow shape and fake toenails on top of the shoe. It makes it far too dressed down to be able to wear to an office because they just look like something at 12-year-old would wear. I would love to see basically the same shoe with a smooth tow like a normal shoe. ... show more

I've had these for around 2 years, use them a ton. If you remove the insole, it's perfect (no drop, very barefoot feel). They've been holding out very well for how much I use it. I run on these both on the treadmill and on the streets, also great for lifting. I think they look kinda goofy but great quality for the price. ... show more

I would have thought that each toe was individual and seperated in the shoe,but as it is constructed at present lends to a very comfortable and almost bare footed connection to the surface whether it be asphalt, grass or Mondo track.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered these specifically for hiking in the San Juan mountains of Colorado during a recent vacation. My everyday barefoot shoes don't feel great walking on gravel so I knew they wouldn't work on mountain trails. I wore these around for a few days to make sure they weren't hitting wrong. They're a tighter fit on the sides than my other barefoot shoes but the toebox has plenty of room. They also came with insoles with an arch - which is odd for a barefoot shoe. So I ordered a pair of thick (6mm) zero drop insoles and removed the arch insole. So if you prefer the zero drop, add the cost of different insoles into this purchase. With all that said - these were excellent on every mountain trail I did! Boulders, pea gravel, chunk gravel, wet surfaces, dirt/pine needle surfaces - they held traction on all of it and I never got poked uncomfortably.
