Description

Like a shot of adrenaline for a stale economy of shredding, the Orangatang Stimulus is here to breathe new life into your ride.Combining an offset bearing seat and relatively wide contact patch with stiff, rounded lips results in a product that feels like a blend between a perfectly broken-in race wheel and a driftier freeride wheel. The stone-ground contact patch ensures buttery-smooth slides right out of the box. Equally adept at slides, tricks, dancing and commuting, the Stimulus is the jack of all trades that’s captivated our hearts year after year. The Stimulus is poured in Orangatang’s proprietary Happy Thane formula for high roll speed, plush feel, and smooth, predictable drifts. Now available in blue 77a: the smoothest, fluffiest, grippiest, most thane-line-leaving urethane in Orangatang’s history! Great for carving buttery lines, ripping around town, smooth n' grippy dancing, and tagging the hill with thane lines.SPECSDiameter: 70mmWidth: 49mmContact Patch: 42mmDurometers: 77a, 80a, 83a, 86aBearing Seat: offsetFormula: Happy ThaneCore: high-strength, high-stiffness, heat-resistant urethaneWhat's included?Set of four Orangatang Stimulus longboard wheels (enough for one complete longboard).About OrangatangOrangatang Wheels was hatched in 2008 as a means of advocating for the civil liberties of the indigenous river capybaras of Southern California. • straight grade AA Budder
Color: Yellow, 86a Size: w/o bearings
Perfect freeride wheels. Grippy when you want it to be and instantly kicks out at your command. doesnt lay as much thane down as i would like but that means the wheel lasts much longer than say Sugar FreeRides or ABEC11 FreeRides

  • The Orangatang Stimulus 70 mm remind me my old Kryptonics 70 mm
Color: Orange, 80a Size: w/o bearings
The Orangatang Stimulus 70 mm remind me my old Kryptonics 70 mm which were a miracle. I still have them. The Orangatang Stimulus 70 mm are good soft wheels, with softness of 80 Durometers, very good for street riding on pavement and asphalt roads, makes the riding soft and quiet. the price is decent, and with good bearings (NSK) they fast on the street like I used to ride during 1980 on my Red Kryptonics (but the Kryptonics were better). I also own the Purple Stimulus 70 mm which a bit harder (83 Durometers), and they also very good, faster on harder pavements. ... show more

  • Soft wheel; Rides well for the right application or use case.
Color: Orange, 80a Size: w/o bearings
The wheels i purchased are 70mm and 80a (soft). I have some 75mm and 86a Durons (larger and harder); to be honest, because these are slightly smaller and softer, and the fact that I tic tac and carve for miles (don't kick push at all), there is a noticeable difference for me in that these are slower and a little less maneuverable than the larger and harder Orangutang Durons that i use (and really like; despite the yellow color). If your a street skater with a cruiser, and kick push everywhere, or a long board rider, these are great wheels I believe. The Orangutang wheels are made with great quality. I will use them on one of my other skates that i like to try different setups on eventually, but for a serious skate workout day.. I put the harder 75mm 86a Durons back on my dogtown bulldog. ... show more

  • Not sure if these are factory seconds
Color: Orange, 80a Size: w/o bearings
Great price compared to some other places but these might be factory seconds. They had a bunch of bubbles on the inner side of the wheels. Love the wheels though. Kicks rocks out pretty well and provide a smooth ride

  • O Tang Stimulus orange
Color: Orange, 80a Size: w/ Loaded Jehu V2 bearings
I have 3 pairs of stimulus wheels, they are the middle of the pack, good for everything, downhill, sliding, cruising, Overall my favorite wheel for everything but pure speed.

  • Best wheels
Color: Purple, 83a Size: w/o bearings
Amazing price. These wheels do not disappoint, I recently dropped a big amount of money on a high tier long board. With long boards the more money you put into it, the more you get out of it. So why pay so much for the board just to have normal wheels on it? My only complaint of these wheels is that they could be a little squishier to go over cracks and bumps and absorb it, but other than that they are almost the best I’ve ever ridden ... show more
