It's been an extra-buggy spring here in the low desert and that includes the big roaches which have been strolling theu our bathroom. This product with its tight-fitting lid is just what I was looking for. Keeps my partial safes and clean overnight. I agree with some other reviewers that the hinges are junk; far too flimsey to last. However, I think that the case will function okay even after they break. Later: Resist the temptation to pick up the case by the lid and the hinges will last longer. Warning: Opening and closing the case may be aproblem if you have arthritic thumbs. ... show more

This case is nice, roomy, and easy to use. I just pop in my mouth guard after waking up with water and a bit of mouthwash to let it soak during the day (so it doesn't grow bacteria from my mouth/get stinky) and I am good to go at night. I think this little thing works great. I love the little built-in shelf that allows you to pull it out of it's bath without having to dunk your hands in. I bought in conjunction with https://www.amazon.com/Retainer-Brite-Tablets-Months-Supply/dp/B005GRGARE, and it really keeps my aligner sparkling clean. The only thing I was a little unsure of was the box it came in - it sort of looked like it had been sitting on a store shelf for a long time. The box was a little dirty and worn. For something I'm going to be putting my Invisalign aligner in everyday that then goes into my mouth, I wish it could have just looked a tiny bit more pristine. However, upon opening the box it definitely had no sign of use, so I'm not worried. ... show more

I was looking for something like this for my Mom, who is in a nursing home. She has a flimsy one that the hospital gave her but I wanted something that didn't leak and was more solid. I looked in 3 different stores and didn't find these (Rite Aid, Walgreens and Walmart). Hence, why even try sometimes at the local retail store - I waste a lot of time. Ugh. Back to the review This is thick plastic and easy to open. It doesn't leak and Mom likes the little basket so she doesn't have put her entire hand in it to fish for her teeth - her words not mine. You get what you. pay for. It works but is not air tight. Leaks everywhere if turned even a bit over. Plastic is very thin. I don't expect the hinges to last long, at least not as long as the last container I had did. I had that one from the dentist. The hinges broke after 5 plus years of every night use. It might even be longer than that. I'd be surprised if this one lasts for more than 2 years if that. Other than that it serves it's function. ... show more
