I ordered 2 of these rugs and at first they were very nice and so soft but after a year they are definitely far from their original appearance. The nice thing is that you can wash them in the washer which was a huge plus but be aware that they do get matted. Vacuuming has become very complicated as the top and bottom of the carpet are separated and get caught in the vacuum and pull the rug. I would not recommend this rug to anyone unless it is out in a very low traffic area. Update: I was contacted by the vendor and They went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. Soft, fluffy, colorful, less toxins, washable and an amazing price. Really? Buy it! The pad itself is sturdy too. The only thing, maybe let it air dry after machinr wash because the rug does loose that- fluffy softness if you wash it incorrectly or dry it on high heat.

he Ophanie 8x10 Area Rug is a beautiful addition to my living room! The shag texture is soft and comfortable, and the grey color is versatile, blending well with my decor. It definitely adds a cozy, inviting touch to the space. However, I’m giving it 4 stars because the rug arrived with noticeable wrinkles, which took some effort to flatten out. Additionally, it’s a bit thinner than I expected, so it doesn’t feel as plush as I had hoped. That said, it’s still a great rug for the price and does its job of making the room feel warmer and more comfortable. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews. First off this is NOT a $100 rug, it is a $20 rug. That said, for the price it's great. It's fluffy and soft. It looks good and i haven't had any of the sliding issues. It's a great inexpensive little rug.
