Purchased for a guest room where it gets some foot traffic, but not frequent. It's been on the floor for about 7 months now and thus far has held up much better than I expected it would. I use a hand held vaccum on it that doesn't have brushes or super suction and this works very well. I "comb" any flat areas with a wide toothed hair comb and it fluffs it right up. I was surprised that it doesn't slide around more on hard wood floors, but it really doesn't.
