The media could not be loaded. Ordered these mugs for my wife. She liked them as you can see from the video. Overall, they are not bad and could make a nice set. They are dishwasher and microwave safe, which is good. The mugs are very light and fit our hands well. We liked the shape too. However, I would like to add to my wife's points from the video that I believe the packaging was insufficient. It sure looks good and has a cardboard divider between the cups. The problem is that divider is too thin and flimsy so the cups could rub against each other. I believe this is the reason one of them arrived with the handle broken off. There should be some sort of a filler or at the very least, a thicker divider to prevent damage. Looking at the broken handle, it seems to me that the ceramic is not as sturdy and durable as I would expect and as compared to some other cups we have. Finally, after drinking black and green tea from the cups for a while, I noticed they get stained easily and are hard to clean. This is not the case with our other cups. Despite the above shortcomings, I still think these are some decent mugs for the money and would recommend them but just beware of packaging. ... show more

I love these cups. They look handmade and are sturdy and elegant. I noticed a couple of flaws but it doesn’t bother me; looks more authentic. Holds a full 12oz of coffee and matches all my other dishes. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Very nice. Thank you :)

This review is for the Oneida 895944 Ridge White Mugs, Set Of 4 (White). The mugs are not a true white but rather a soft matte stone white. They have a narrow bottom that angles out to a mouth that’s a little wider. The horizontal ridges are ever so slightly waved. The cup gets quite hot when microwaving liquid but the handle stays cool. These mugs have recently become my favorite mugs. They look like hand-made mugs but they aren't. I've used it for a casual morning coffee or a formal afternoon tea. I feel they are clean and minimalist and complement my kitchen. The quality is good porcelain, I have dropped them in the sink on accident and it is still durable. I haven't seen any chips or cracking. They are very easy to clean. One thing I want to mention is that the heat retention is actually pretty good.
