I wanted to like these sandals. They are quite comfortable and have a reasonably fashionable (compared with other brands like Birkenstock). While they lasted I really liked them. But today, almost 4 months to the day since I bought them the buckle that holds the top strap broke. It's a real shame too because the rest of the sandal is holding up well. The soles have lasted, the leather has lasted and and every other part of it still looks new. But the buckles are a definite weak point. If you look at the picture you'll see it's a very tiny piece of cast Tin that holds the entire shoe together. I suspect half of it broke first then the other piece broke a few days later because they've been feeling slightly loose this week. At any rate, for me, buying these was basically equivalent to renting the sandals at $6.50 per month for four months. I would have expected them to last longer. Unless the manufacturer changes this buckle I'm afraid this design is doomed to die an early death. ... show more

Having big feet like a size 13 in mens. Its hard to come across a good shoe and company that holds a good product and good expectation. I was blown away how well manufactured these sandals are. Smells like good quality product and not cheap stuff.

So these are basically knockoff Birks at about 1/4 the cost of the classics. Day 1- The good is that they fit like expected after reading other reviews. The bad: They don't have any significant arch support, the glue on the heel of the right sole is failing after 2 hours walking indoors, and if this is leather it's from a plastic cow. I really hoped for better, but it is what it is. I needed a replacement for some Sperry flip-flops that finally died after 5 years of daily wear around the house. Wanted to try something with some arch support for my plantar fasciitis. These were a mistake, however due to the materials mainly being artificial, they'll likely make decent shower slides for walking from bathroom to closet. I bought the brown size 10 and wear an 11E in dress shoes or an 11/12 in sneakers. These fit pretty well for my wide toes and narrow heel. Day 2 - sole was peeling off the cork on right heel and around strap on both. These weren't worth the headache so statted return process. I gave them 3 stars anyway because they are comfortable and do fit. ... show more

I ordered two of these and in less than 5 months, both ripped. These are indoor use so I am very surprised. I can't recommend this knowing I had similar sandals and slippers that lasted years at similar price. My suggestion? Buy from a brand with some history, like Clarks or whoever makes sandals for the past few decades. These are just made to look good for the first few months but eventually break down or tear and you can't get a return. How did the two sandals break? Both straps ripped off but one was directly from the sole and the others metallic clips just snapped out of nowhere. ... show more

I'm just using them for indoors for foot support, but I forget I have them on as they fit well and are comfortable. Not sure how long they will last, but if they last out the summer I'll be satisfied.

I was surprised by how well they fit and how comfortable these are. I didn't want to spent $100+ on a pair of Birkenstocks so I thought I'd give these a try. Good value. I like how the edges of the platform are rolled up a bit, just enough to help keep your feet from sliding off. Takes a few days to break them in and then they are very comfortable to wear. My only complaint is there was some glue on one of the straps but it was mostly hidden by the buckle. So quality control could be a little better. As far as comfort with the shoes they’re great but............ The right buckle broke probably four weeks after buying shoes . Today 6 weeks later the left buckle broke .......... The first time I put super glue on it because they are very comfortable but now I will write the company to see if they can replace them to be continued........ ... show more

i'm very disappointed with these sandals cause if i knew these were what i was getting for my money i would not have buy. I know leather and these don't appear to be,the build quality that to i'm not impress with cause these don't look like they can last 4 months of constant wearing so don't be fool by pictures and the four and a half star reviews, I was not expecting Birkenstock quality for this money i spend but you could have gave a much better quality in regards leather, i bought a pair similar to these in England for around this same price and four years on i'm feeling great with my purchase. ... show more
