  • Works perfectly
A very good value for the money. My son uses it for a stand-up bass. It was very easy to set up, and works perfectly.

  • This is useful for a 3/4 size stand up bass.
I bought this stand as a gift for my wife who has recently begun to play a stand-up acoustic bass ("3/4" size). The stand is fairly lightweight but seems very sturdy and solid and it's proportioned to hold the bass very well. It will be easy to fold and pack for her when she's going to lessons or opportunities to play. It seems to be an excellent product and it's a very good value. ... show more

  • Works great for 1/8 double bass
We need this for my child who wants to learn the double bass. Taking the bass it in and out of the bag can be a significant road bump to practicing. This allows quick and easy access to practice. The “arms” make taking the bass on and off easy. I can see this falling over occasionally as the bass is taken out. Highly doubt it will happen when the bass is nestled in. It’s a great option for the value. Maybe some extras heavy weights on the legs might prevent tipping when taking instrument in and off. It is a big improvement to a similarly priced stand on Amazon. If it’s between this and the wayvpoint. Go with this one, even if it’s a bit more. ... show more

  • Good product- box damaged.
The package arrived damaged. The stand is sturdy, but came with a few scratches on it.

  • Careless finishing and packing
The stand delivered in its original box with no packing. The flimsy box was punctured through the center and completely ripped apart at the corners. The shipping company had attempted to repair with tape, but there was still a gaping corner hole. The stand banged around inside the box. In other bad news one of the adjustable arms was stuck with the screw threads jammed in the slot and wouldn’t move. This was more likely careless finishing than shipping damage. The only way to unstick it - a requirement in order for it to function- was to take a small hammer and carefully tap it all the way back down the slot to reset its position. Fortunately this is for a bass so the lower position is ok. Had I needed this for a cello it would be detrimental. It’s always disappointing to buy a product where the seller/manufacturer clearly didn’t care about the end result. This was a gift. ... show more

  • Great for my Bass
This stand is working great for my BSX Bass. It is small body so I needed the adjustable option.

  • Works great
It’s a solid stand, the only thing to be weary of is that it doesn’t fit a bass super super well, it looks and feels like it was designed for a cello but can hold a bass too.

  • It is a safe stand for your instrument
I wanted a stand that would both support and protect my instrument from scratches and from being knocked over. I also wanted one that sat on the floor without wobble and had a hook for my bow. This one did all of that. It has nice large moveable supports for the instrument and a neck support with a strap to hold the instrument in place. It breaks down to two main parts which flatten to a depth of about 6-7" and in truth it is a bit cumbersome if you want to use it on a gig but it is worth the peace of mind not having to lay your instrument on the floor where everyone seems to need to walk. I use it primarily in studio between practice sessions to save time getting my instrument in and out of the case. I have used this brand for various other stands and for the money, quality of construction and value every stand has been great. Well worth the investment. ... show more
