  • Can't be beat for features/price
This is probably the lowest price and best monitor you can get with 1440p, gysnc, and such a high native refresh rate (144hz, with possible OC to 165). Sometimes the viewing angle can be slightly annoying but not something you see 98% of the time . It has a matte finish which is great if you play in rooms with lots of glare. There really aren't any other monitors that come close to this one for features/price. Only ranked durability a 4 because 1) I dont have it too long yet and 2) there are these tiny little wire guides on the monitor stands (check the pictures) and I had one easily crack and break off while unboxing so just be careful. You can't even tell that it broke when it's all setup so it's not a deal breaker, but just mind it while you remove it from the package. I use this with a msi 2080 and typically stay around 120-144fps while playing bf5 all ultra. Also, the omen branding is not overbearing like some other brands and it's extremely solidly built. You won't look like a Razer boy gamer with this on your desk. You can also disable the ambient lighting, but I've grown fond of the option that lights up to mimic colors on the screen. ... show more

  • Amazing monitor
I absolutely love my monitor and have been using it(and I am currently) for the past 3 months. I might have gotten lucky but there are no dead pixels and absolutely no backlight bleed. it is an exceptionally quick 2k quality monitor, although the color is not as vibrant just because of it being a TN panel rather than an IPS panel. for the reason off the color being off I took one star off however it can be adjusted and made to look better so overall it was well worth the money spent. ... show more

  • Awesome Monitor with a bad rep
I think this monitor got a bad rep because of how much it was when it was first released which I get but I honestly love it. Yeah the Asus ROG PG28 & PG29 are probably better but for 450 flat with no tax you can't go wrong with this monitor. G-sync, 1440p & 144hz. It's true what they say, the color quality isn't the best (you'll definitely notice most blacks as grayish) but this thing is a beast and it still looks really good. I can't say I'm disappointed. Playing overwatch on ultra settings and still getting 150 plus fps & playing the wither on highest settings for 2k and the games look amazing. If you're considering this monitor buy/try it. Worst thing that can happen is you hate it then you can just return it, get your refund in a couple days and get a different one. I myself give it a 4.5/5 just because of the color/pic quality due to it being a TN panel. ... show more

Great monitor! Bought a refurbished model that is in mint condition and it works without a hitch. Overclocks to 165hz (have to go into the menu and enable OC mode or it will only allow 144). Gsync works wonderfully and the colors are better than expected. I came from a 1440 ips monitor before buying this and was worried since it’s a TN panel but the colors are fine. ... show more

Great monitor once you set it up and mess round with the display settings. At first i wasnt sure how to get it to 165hz, i quickly learned my hdmi doesn't support up to 144hz. To achieve 165hz u have to use the display port that comes with the monitor and then change the monitor display rate to 144hz in display settings and enable g sync in nvidia control panel. now on your monitor look for the overclock option, enable it and now you can change your monitor display to 165hz in display settings>advanced display settings>display adapter properties Comes with a vesa mount and a normal stand. easy to change out and use ... show more

  • 2 MONITORS CAME DEFECTIVE BEWARE!!!
Not sure if this has to do with the seller, or if this is an issue with the monitor itself. First monitor came with a dead pixel, thought to myself "no big deal this happens" so I ordered a return label (THANK YOU AMAZON RETURN POLICY!) and purchased another monitor as I HAD to use this one for work. The second monitor arrived and it was even worse then the first one. I called Amazon support and Amazon support called the seller and I kid you not, according to the seller they all have dead pixels... This monitor has GREAT color and performance so I am very sad to hear all these units are essentially defective. I would would avoid this seller like the plague and possibly search for a another monitor. DO NOT TAKE THE RISK WITH THIS SELLER! ... show more

  • "27'" Great features for the Price( on sale) / Terrible Black colors
27' 1440p G-sync all great features in a gaming monitor especially at the $430 sale I paid. Pros: Great resolution 2k resolution G-sync At a cheaper sale price point Very high refresh rate Cons: Terrible black/grey washed out colors , color banding, the worst I've ever seen, I downloaded ICC color profiles , adjusted color settings in monitor and Nvidia control panel to no avail leading me to return the monitor. It's very possible I just received a monitor with these dark color issues but buyer beware they were vary apparent in my purchase. (Pictures above show base out of the box issues the colors on my desktop.) ... show more

  • Crystal clear picture, great colors, awesome price
I'd been on the fence for a 1440p 144hz monitor for a while, they were always slightly too expensive for my budget to justify. This one finally went on sale enough that I had to jump on the deal while it was fresh, and I don't regret it. Picture quality is outstanding and despite my concern about shipping a monitor it was in pristine condition upon arrival. I never truly believed the hype around gsync until I plugged this monitor in and now I can't go back. 165hz is not a default setting and you have to go into settings and enable turboclock to access that setting. If you're on the fence like I was and your budget can fit this comfortably, go for it. OMEN monitors have served me well and I will always recommend them to anyone who asks ... show more
