These are great shoes and I love them because I like to dress in a vintage style and these really pull my outfits together! The quality and comfort is decent, not extravagant but enough to be a reliable and stylish shoe worthy of buying. They are easily matched to different outfits and they look lovely! I ordered the brown pair first, and got them a half a size up to be safe. Luckily, they worked great! They were a bit long on my foot because I had ordered big, but not so bad that I couldn't enjoy them. They have held up pretty well over the past few weeks- I posted a photo of the sole wear, the bottom got dirty of course but the tread is fine. I liked them so much that I came back to order them in black and white. I ordered the black pair in my true size. so they are definitely smaller but fit better in the end. I would say these fit true to size but if you want to order a half size up it will still work, it will just be a tiny bit roomier if you like that. The white part on the brown pair is a bit more of a cream compared to the black ones, which are pure white. There is a photo attached of the comparison between the colors and the sizes. I've worn these shoes, in brown and black, for four years, nearly every work day. Pros: They are light, stylish and work well as teacher shoes. They do well in normal wear and each pair lasts about a year of near daily wear. Cons: They do not hold up to water or wet grass very well. When I taught in a portable and had to walk through damp grass daily, it halved the life of my shoes. The sole peels away from the upper. They have little arch support so I bought inserts for them which makes them very comfortable. Sizing: I am a 9.5 but wear a 10 in these shoes and they fit perfectly. ... show more

I was so excited for these and really hopeful that they would work out. I'm into vintage inspired style, but unfortunately I'm physically disabled and cannot wear the heels that I dream of. When I found these I thought they would go perfectly with my vintage style clothing and still be comfortable for me to actually walk in. A lot of other oxford or wingtip style shoes can appear more masculine, and I wanted something a bit more delicate or feminine that would be cute with skirts and dresses. They also seemed like they would work great for either dressing up or down. I'll admit that these shoes are beautifully made, especially considering the price, but they are extremely narrow. I had seen in one or two reviews that they run slightly small, so I orded half a size up. If I had purchased my normal (most often bought) size I wouldn't have been able to try them on at all. Ultimately I was able to just barely slide my feet into them, but even just walking around the room quickly became painful. They're abnormally narrow in my opinion. I don't have particularly wide feet, and I've never really ever had a problem like this with shoes before. When you look at them from the top of the shoe you won't notice how narrow they actually are. But you can definitely tell when looking at the sole. At the arch of your foot, the width of the sole is only 1.75" wide. This not only makes you unnaturally push your weight to the outsides of your feet, it also forcably squishes your toes together. If you're just sitting it's not a problem, but as soon as you take a step or bear your weight down in any way, you become painfully aware of the issues. In the pictures I've attached, I added a side by side of the soles of these shoes compared with a normal pair of shoes of the same size and similar style. As you can see, the length of the soles are the same (10.75"). However the width of both shoes is drastically different. Especially considering they are the exact same size. It's much more apparent visually in person, so I broke out the measuring tape for you. The measurements of this (black) shoe are: widest part of toe- 3.25", middle of arch- 1.75", heel width- 2.25". While the measurements for the regular/average (brown) shoe are: toe- 3.75", arch- 2.5", heel- 2.75". So there are definite sizing differences. The width of each point of the sole are at least 1/2" too narrow. Which, I mean when we're talking about relatively small increments, is kind of huge. Also, as you may notice in the picture, these shoes have a dramatic curve on the inner part of the foot from the toe through the arch, to accommodate the drastic width change. I don't know if you can tell in the photo, but there's at least 1.25" of space between where the inside of the sole ends and the inside of the actual shoe and/or where the inside of your foot would end. So as a result the arch of your foot doesn't really have anything under it for support. It ends up forcing your weight to the outside of your feet in a very uncomfortable and unnatural manner. But like I said before, these shoes are very well made. That's why I ended up givimg them more than 1 star. They have slight padding in the heel, the treads are anti-slip, I love that they come in solid black instead of just the traditional black and white, the contrast in texture of the patent "leather" and regular "leather" is very aesthetic, and the detailing is well done. So if you have very narrow, and tend to walk on the outsides of your feet, definitely go for it! They are a wonderful quality and great style for the price! Sadly, if it weren't for the crazy narrow sole, I would think these shoes were absolutely perfect. So it's really unfortunate and a little bit heartbreaking that I have to send them back. However, because I do love the quality of the shoe itself, I am going to be ordering a different style of wingtip shoe from this brand. Unfortunately they don't come in the solid color with contrasting leather textures, but I can tell from the pictures that the sole is much wider and extends to the actual shoe's width in the arch. Hopefully they'll be everything that these shoes couldn't be. But we shall see. ... show more

Cute shoes! I wear usually a US9 in shoes but I’ve learned that when ordering online (especially Amazon) it’s best if you know your CM size and not IN size. It’s more accurate. Based on my cm size I ordered a 9.5 and they fit great! I wore them for the first time yesterday when I was out with my besties and they were mostly comfy. I do recommend that if your feet get kind of sore after 5 hrs of walking nonstop, get cushion insoles because after 8hrs of walking yesterday for Christmas shopping, I could’ve used a little bit of cushion LOL. I like the look of the shoe, however, the heel needs to be higher. An inch or two more would have made this shoe a great shoe. By the way, I requested cancellation minutes after ordering and it gave me an error on the cancelation request; I did this various times with no success. I called customer service who guaranteed me that it was canceled, and here I am with a product not so much wanted. The return process in PR is a hassle, and this is happening too often, and you end up with something you didn't want from the get-go. ... show more

Size: 7.5 Color: Black/Black
I got the all black ones in 7.5. I normally wear a 7, or very occasionally a 6.5. I wanted to wear these on a vacation wear I plan to walk a lot (so I’ll be putting in an insert). After some reviews saying they were a bit small or narrow, I wanted to be sure they could accommodate an insert. I would say 7.5 is a bit too big for me, in the toe and width. I wouldn’t call these exceptionally narrow, so I would go with your normal size when ordering. They do still fit well enough, so I’m not going to return them, and just hope the insert I choose helps keep them a bit more snug. They’re stiff, as new shoes usually are, and I do think as is, would be uncomfortable after much walking. For wearing all day to school/work, I don’t think they’d be uncomfortable at all. The quality is quite nice, as are the colors and detailing. Very much worth their price. ... show more
