We recently purchased 6 - OKPRO Solar Street Light for the liquor store, and it has exceeded expectations. Although, the bar was set relatively low. Living in an area with limited street lighting, safety concerns were always in the back of our minds. Also, the local electric company was gouging us for the ONE street light shining on the parking lot. However, this solar street light has genuinely provided a remarkable solution. Installation was a breeze – the package came with clear instructions, and we had it up and running within 10 minutes per light. **RECOMMENDATION: Goto your local hardware store and buy stronger headlock nails if installed into the wood structure of your building. The sturdy build of the light gives us confidence that it can withstand various weather conditions, which is crucial for an outdoor lighting fixture. The solar panel efficiently charges the built-in battery during the day, and the light automatically turns on as dusk falls. We appreciate the intelligent motion sensor feature that brightens the light even more when movement is detected, but our setting is always on, providing an extra layer of security. The brightness is just right – it illuminates a significant area without causing any light pollution, making it ideal for residential areas. We actually have 3 lights on one side, one in the back, and one in the front corner. One of the standout features for us is energy efficiency. These lights are awesome!!! Light enough to see but not over powering. We keep buying more because we love them so much. I bought 2 lights for my parents house last year and they love the lights. I just bought a house this year and I bought 4 of them to put around my house. It’s great to have them solar and not have to pay an extra electric bill. We keep finding places to put more. In fact I have to order 2 more as we found more places that need them. Easy to install and adjust so lights shine perfectly where we want them. We set lights on 50% power so they will remain on longer and love the fact that the light will brighten when someone approaches them. First of all, it's solar powered, so performance is, in my opinion, always going to be subpar. This light provides a "security" type of lighting, but is in NO WAY a 1000W equivalent. It provides enough light to see if someone is messing around in your chosen mounting location, but don't expect it to provide enough light to be able to make out who it is. If you need some light in a dark area, and you want the convenience of solar, I would recommend these types of lights, but don't expect to be blown away by the amount of light produced, or the amount of time that it produces the light. They are super convenient, but definitely not a replacement for a wired light. EDIT - I agreed to edit this review at the request of the seller. I did change my rating to 4 stars, solely based on their customer service. The details in my original review of the light have not changed, but as for their customer service, I would actually have to give them a 5 star rating as they have tried to make everything right. However, you can't talk a solar powered light into being any brighter than what it actually is. They did send a replacement light, which was appreciated, but I believe what needs to be addressed is the over exaggerated wattage on the listing. If they had listed that the light was like a 300 watt equivalent, and it ACTUALLY was, then I would have known what I was getting and wouldn't have been let down. As it was listed as a 1000 watt light, and once installed it was more like a 300 watt light, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to say the least. I do have to commend them on their customer service though, I have no issues with that, and if I wanted another one of these lights, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. ... show more

This light has been a great additional to our pole building. We haven’t ran electrical wiring out to the building, so this light is just what we needed. We all feel safer going to and from our cars especially during the darker winter months.
