  • Versatile, easy to use
It’s a great product. Holds my ipad 10th gen with a case perfectly! I just wish the actual mount of the ipad was made to be a little more durable, it’s made out of plastic and even though it works fine it feels like it could break easily. Other than that it’s versatile in the different types of configuration it can hold my ipad, and it’s nice and customizable. The strap also fits around my thigh well, nice and snug. ... show more

  • As advertised, nice tilting mechanism, short strap
I got this to save me from having to hold up my full-sized iPad while I'm doom-scrolling. It does fit around my leg just above the knee, with the band firmly tightened. At that point, the circumference of my leg is 16 inches almost exactly. The band fits. I could likely be perhaps two inches chunkier there, and it would still be ok. More if I had better circulation and could cinch it up a bit. And the band is wonderful - thick, great velcro, doesn't roll. But, if someone wants it higher up their thigh, or they have a thicker thigh than I have, it might be a tight fit. Or be unable to fit. My iPad has a 13" display. It fits in the grabber, extended all the way. I have to kind of fit the bottom in, then tip the top "claw hands" back and pull them over the edge. That said, it works well, and I have had no worries about my iPad being damaged in that process. It also shrinks to fit my kindle nicely. There are two tilt mechanisms, both fitted with dials to tighten, when you find the right spot (side to side, angled down from level). They're easy to use, and can be tightened with my arthritic fingers, no problems. I like this. So why only four stars? I want it to tip towards me, and stay closer to my knee. The device isn't centered on the band if the device is larger. It extends either somewhat above, or below, depending on whether you have it strapped velcro to the left or to the right. The thing is, I want the device to extend up past my knee, and tilt down towards me. It only tilts the other way. So I can either have it lower, and tilt towards me, or I can have it higher and tilt away from me. Grrrrr. I want to alleviate neck strain by having it higher, and still pointing at my face. How else can I doom scroll in comfort? To be fair, this is for pilots, not for couch surfers. But hey, there are more of us. So - it's stable, easy to use, fits a wide variety of sizes, tilts super easily and well. It just doesn't quite move the one direction I want it to be able to move. Too bad they don't let us give portions of stars. I would totally go 4.75. ... show more

  • Band is too small and its really only good for an iPad Mini
The leg band is too small and uncomfortable for me. The tablet holder attaches to the band with four snap-in prongs, but the clips feel flimsy and might not last long. The clamp seems best suited for an iPad Mini, as larger iPads are too heavy and bounce around on your leg. If you have slim legs and an iPad Mini, this may work, but it’s not ideal for most people. I also have concerns about the long-term durability of the mounting system. ... show more

  • Needs a longer strap
The part of this holder that actually holds the tablet is functional; not the easiest or smoothest attachment, but one that works once it is fitted on. The band that goes around your leg, however, is too short for average adult use if you plan on retaining circulation in your leg. Yes, it should be snug to make sure your device is secure where you want it, but the length of the elastic given makes this more like a tourniquet for anything longer than a brief use. I say this as someone who doesn't carry weight in their legs or has otherwise dedicated significant time on leg day at the gym--I doubt anyone with thicker thighs could fit. ... show more

  • Great angled iPad kneeboard with a too-tight strap
The actual iPad holder is great. I use an iPad mini and this holder/mount holds it tightly and securely. I really appreciate the adjustable 'feet' that can be tightened or loosened to accommodate tablets of differing thicknesses. The mount can be angled to a variety of positions. My only complaint is the length of the strap. I have fairly thick thighs (due to cycling), but not atypically so. I'd consider my thigh circumference to be somewhat thicker than average, but still "normal" - and this strap is TIGHT. It's nearly uncomfortably tight. If another two inches of "give" was there, this would be perfect. I'll need to do a long flight to be sure of the level of discomfort that this might cause, but it's bordering on cutting some blood circulation. If you're a pilot who uses an iPad often and you're not comfortable with yoke or side window mounts (and you have average thighs...), this is probably a great product for you. If your thighs are on the thicker side like mine, give it a try but be prepared to return for a refund if it's not comfortable. ... show more

  • Surprisingly Useful. Unsurprisingly, Cool.
OK, let me start off by saying, the only thing I pilot is the family van. But I am an aviation enthusiast, so of course I have heard about the kneeboards that pilots use. I was excited to find this one, which while perhaps not as fancy as others I have seen, is a lot more in my value range, so to speak. I really enjoy this thing. I can throw my phone in it while driving, so my wife can use the mounted phone holder, and I can see things at a glance. I also started using it when working on craft projects or gaming, again because the phone is upright and instantly available. For these uses, I really have no negative feedback about this kneeboard. I think these being available is a pretty new development. I keep being surprised the uses I find for it. ... show more

  • Great item, very useful!!
I like this kneepad for my iPad. It works great for flying and seems very durable. The strap is comfortable, and it does not get in the way. My iPad fits great, and it is very useful. It stays very firm, and I always can be sure my iPad will not fall out. I think it will last me a long time, and I definitely recommend this product! ... show more
