Softballs come in soft, medium or hard, and this one is definitely hard. I like the bright lime green color, which will make it much easier to see and find for practice catching and pitching. The PVC cover material looks like it will be durable, and the stitching seems tight and even.

i needed a way to apply pressure to a knot in my back. sitting in a hard, high back chair (a patio chair) i position the softball right on that spot, sit back and roll it around in small circles. hurts like crazy but it breaks up the knot in the muscle. a "therapy" ball would have cost at least 10 x what the softball cost. saves me from having physical therapy as well..... money well spent. ... show more

Was just like how it’s listed on the website with no printing on it. After use for one week the ball has held up with no damage to the leather covering. However, the seams of the ball are small and not raised. This would not be a good pitching ball or game ball due to pitchers needing a raised seam for proper grip in their pitches.
