Specs say 5/32" / 3mm steel thickness; this is inaccurate as the bumper I received is about 2mm with the coating/paint. It's pretty light duty, especially the brackets that connect it to the body/frame (which are probably 3mm; just not braced well for side loading). I doubt this would hold up to a tough recovery. It looks good and you get what you pay for; but it's not as advertised. ... show more

There is no rubber or plastic stoppers for the hooks, the D-Ring slides side to side making knocking sound. Other than that I love it.
