I like this tool box except for a couple minor issues. 1) The latches don't snap as tight as I would like. I get the feel that it may pop open when I lift it up. 2) There is a design flaw on the compartments on the top. They are hard to open because the tab to open them lays flat on the top of the box, so it's hard to get your finger underneath it to pull the compartment open. ... show more

This is a fairly large toolbox, I needed it to be big enough for a hammer and a staple gun, and it is. It has lots of spaces to organize various items and is very sturdy, therefore a little heavy. I've even got a roll of shelf paper in there. Love it.

Nice tool box however I don’t think the compartments on the top will last very long. This box will be used in the back of my husband s truck so it gets plent of use. I can see one of the lids on the top already is lifted on the back hinge. Other than that it’s good.

I did not like the rattling sound that small parts made in the lid compartments each time that I opened the tool box. The hinge is all plastic - better made "plastic" boxes have a metal pin in the hinge. The wall thickness is very thin. The plastic seems like a styrene type of plastic, not the tougher polypropylene plastics. Sometimes I need use the tool box as a small seat - I don't think that this one would hold up. If I were an artists with paints and brushes, or sewing materials or model airplane parts, this tool box would be GREAT! I have a smaller older plastic tool box purchased a ACE hardware that is crammed with tools and the front is starting to bulge a little - I need a bigger tool box - but not this one. ... show more
