However, I finally did get it and in time for my weekend hiking trip. During my trip, I found that I was very happy with everything in this kit, it's compact, very durable, and easy to clean. This was absolutely perfect. I took it cold camping and was impressed with everything but the silverware, it doesn't lock into place and stay, so I pitched those. The little stove unit is very impressive and boils water immediately.

Took this on a camping trip and it worked amazing! The tea kettle worked amazing to heat up water for coffee in the morning which we used the cups that were provided and they made great serving sizes. Doesn’t get too hot. Pans worked great as well. Ordered this for an upcoming primitive kayaking camping trip. Have cooked a variety of meals in it in preparation. At least two other friends have purchased same one for same trip after seeing mine. I like the kettle for boiling water. I bought a small plastic utensil set from BB&B rather than using the silverware included so it doesn’t scratch it up. I am pleased with it. Lightweight. Bought a kids sand sifter on clearance to use as a colander/strainer. It small so it fits right on the top of the kit in the bag rather nicely. Not sure how well it will work but it was $1.50. I bought this product to go on a canoe trip and it worked great. When I moved and couldn’t find my regular kitchen stuff this was still in my car so I used it in my home until I found my cooking stuff. It was perfect.
