Okay I didn’t realize I never took a picture before taking the shelf off except for it being in the background of a picture of my cat. I can’t say anything about how much weight it holds since I only intended to display my dolls. But my god those strips STICK. I was removing the shelves and 3 of the strips broke. So I had to remove the shelf with half of it still being stuck with command strips. It ripped the wall. I glued what I could back on and since it’s a dorm I may get away with it. It was my fault I didn’t remove them correctly so I’m not upset, but i added this as proof of its strength. ... show more

Not the prettiest shelf, but super easy to install and it does the job. I put mine in the bathroom and it holds a bunch of toiletries. It has been up there for a couple of months, with (so far) no signs of falling down.

I have no idea what everyone is talking about regarding the strong adhesion. These floating shelves came with tiny command strips that you use to hang posters on your college dorm. Nevertheless, I trusted the instructions, made sure it wasn’t on “fragile walls”, and no less than 10 minutes later everything on them falls onto the ground/in the sink. I tried to use my own heavy duty command trips and even those couldn’t hold these shelves. I don’t know if it’s how the shelves are are proportioned, or if it’s material of the shelves they just are not sticking. I have other items on the same walls that stuck just fine. I’ve now spent money not only on a useless piece of plastic but also on having to replace everything that broke! Rude. ... show more
