Description

Don't settle for the tunnel vision of ordinary goggles. When we engineered Canopy, we expanded the lens volume and created a low-profile frame design. That means you'll enjoy a wide-open view with maximized peripheral and downward vision. The razor-sharp optics take advantage of Platonize lens material that filters out 100% of all UV and with the combination of dual vented lens architecture and F3 anti-fog coating, you'll have superior protection against the threat of fog-ups. Our O-Flow Arch technology makes the simple act of breathing a lot easier. For even more comfort, the face foam is a triple layer with moisture-wicking fleece and the O Matter chassis stays flexible in bone-chilling weather while the strap anchor plates distribute pressure evenly. The wide, adjustable strap has silicone lining to stay securely in place. Canopy is designed for improved compatibility with helmets and most prescription eyewear frames. As far as protection goes, this Oakley goggle meets the impact resistance standards of ANSI Z87.1 and EN 174:2001.

  • PRIZM lenses are amazing and worth every cent.
The goggles are solid, as the other reviews here state. Comfy, lenses are perfectly correct, peripheral vision is about the best you can get, goggles vent well and fog is gone the instant it appears. *These things will fog and kind of ice over on the really heavy snow days, for those only those heated goggles will work perfect I think. I give them five stars and this review will be more on the lenses. At first I though the whole PRIZM lens thing was just marketing, and I'd never pay that much for ski goggles. After doing research though, I decided to try them out. Oakley makes quality lenses, so with some good reviews (other than the ones from pros paid by Oakley), I decided to order them. I ordered the jade iridium (green mirror) which is the lens for mixed conditions, and let me tell you, they are great. It really does help bring out contrast and snow details in many light conditions. I've worn these on sunny bluebird days, party cloudy days, and today I got it some low light with low vis (light falling/blowing snow). They still were fine, but I think the rose (low light lens) would have worked best. Basically, the jade iridium lenses are the rose lenses with iridium (mirror) coating. In bright and mixed conditions it is awesome, but in low light you need all the light you can get (no no mirrored lens). When you put these things on, everything gets a heavy rose tint, and if you focus you eyes on the actual lens in front of your face, you can pick up a little bit of the green mirrored tint. After a couple of seconds of your eyes adjusting, everything just looks right. You don't feel like you have any tint at all, everything is just clear and perfect (you can obviously tell you're wearing tinted lenses, but it's just perfect). Going back to that bit of green tint you can pickup, around the edges of the lens all you can make out is the rose tint of the base lens, which gives you even better visibility in the lower light (and why the un-mirrored rose tint lens would be perfect for low light) I just purchased myself some rose lenses here which were on sale and can not wait to receive them. With these goggles and the lenses, I don't think I'll ever have to buy anything snow eyewear related again. ... show more

  • LIFE CHANGING!
I LOVE these goggles!!!!! They were better than I ever would have imagined. The colors are not distorted much when looking through the goggles, and they are fantastic in full sun. I didn't realize how much sun they were blocking out until I took them off and was nearly blinded! They have great air flow and never fogged up once. I got quite a few compliments on these goggles and they were well worth the money. Great buy and FANTASTIC goggles! ... show more

  • Nice Frame, good anti-fog
Quality frame, quality lens. I took these out on some super cold days at Okemo (east coast, in VT). It was around -4F and we were working up a sweat on some powdery runs, so a lot of people were fogging up bad. The anti-fog coating on the inside lens works great on these goggles. I never had any fogging issues that day. There's not much else to say about them though, I mean they are nice, I expect them to hold up well, but I wouldn't pay the MSRP (minus 1 star for being overpriced). Also, I've been using the HI yellow lens for daytime overcast conditions and night riding conditions at Holiday Valley, and it works perfectly for both. I've even had it on while the sun poked out for a while and had no issues, it took the edge off the brightness. EDIT: A note on the anti-fog coating, make sure you don't get the inside lens wet if possible! Sometimes I cry... because of the extreme speeds I am reaching while going downhill and the wind getting into the frame and the tears will drip onto the inside of the lens occasionally and cause a tear-spot to form. You have to dry the lens, then dab it with a damp cloth, carefully wiping only as needed to clean it, otherwise you can blot the coating or remove it completely. Don't use soap and water, just a lightly damped cloth! You can see when you get the lens wet the coating will "melt" and smear. ... show more

  • Excellent goggle, very high quality.
Excellent goggle. No fogging, and I was even able to wear my glasses under the goggles without any problems. The tint of this goggle jade iridium, (if I remember the name correctly) worked in cloudy conditions and bright sunlight. It was very comfortable and I didn't really notice it on my face.

  • Excellent goggles
I bought these after I returned the Flight Deck's because they were not comfortable over my glasses. These fit perfectly over my glasses with room to spare, they are extremely comfortable on my face and around my nose. There is no pinching, uncomfortable weight, and they look awesome! Very happy with these. ... show more

  • It's like skiing in HD
Prizm lenses are insane. I was skeptical that it would be a notable difference between my old oakley wisdom goggles... I was wrong. Huge difference. Whether bright and sunny or overcast and shadowy, you can see every bump in the snow. It's like skiing in HD. Worth every penny.
