Love the color and the formula, but the applicator is a challenge. I find that I need to use a lipstick brush to even out the liquid after I apply with the wand. The formula lasts long enough, and doesn't transfer on my straw, or a kiss to my husband, but does come off with a meal. The media could not be loaded. 1. Shipping: I ordered this on March 8th and received it on March 12th with Prime shipping. It was shipped in a box with multiple orders. This is pretty quick, so that was nice. 2. Packaging: The lone lipstick was rolling around like a roller derby girl all by itself in the box with a shipping label on it. I thought this was trashy. No bubble wrap? No little bit of packaging? Just a shipping label I still can't manage to get completely off? Oh well. 3. Appearance: It is the PERFECT shade of black- not dark purple, not blue, not grey. The lipstick itself feels moisturizing and light on my lips, which can be a weak point for most matte liquid lipsticks. It's very opaque- the lipstick you see in my photos was applied with one coat. It blends out very easily for a softer look and will need to set for around 1 minute after applying (you can see in the swatch on my arm it still moves around for up to ~45 seconds). I love how this looks until... 4. Longevity: I wear it. In the photos and video clip, I did not eat or drink. All I did was talk, and it started having visible wear off. Here is why the rating is so low. It's a generous amount of lipstick but I don't have time to stop and continually fix my lipstick because I looked at it wrong when lipsticks like my Rimmel Stay Matte don't budge after eating hot wings and barbeque chips. Also, it takes forever to dry down, meaning that if you do ANYTHING- talk, think too loud, etc. when applying this lipstick it will smudge and stain your skin. It doesn't rub off colour onto any surfaces though- my clothes, someone else, my furniture. When it's dry, it's dry and doesn't transfer. It just... disappears. Where is it going? Who hexed my lipstick? 5. Value: You can see from the size of it compared to my hand it's a very generous size, bigger than all of my other liquid lipsticks. I paid $7.50, which is a very decent price, but I'd only buy it again if they reformulated it to not disappear off my lips and leave the unsightly remains of what was a gorgeous lipstick. Overall, due to the poor packaging and the way it crumbles off my lips only 10 minutes after application, I give it 3 stars. I expected better from Nyx and will have to look elsewhere for my dream matte black liquid lipstick. I might have to raid the Halloween section at Wal-Mart again. ... show more
