My girlfriend and I live off grid no power lines or running water we shower outside in spring, summer and fall in a shower tent and the little bathtub in the camper in the cold months and mostly we use the turkey fryers and stock pots to heat shower water I really like that this one seems really sturdy and love the electric ignition much better then trying to use a grill lighter in the wind yesterday I put it together (fairly basic assembly) and we used it for the first time it seems to do the job with no issues (so far) but yesterday was the first use I hope it continues to work good it seems to be sturdier and heats up a full stock pot fairly fast. No complaints so far I can't complain I hope it stays that way ... show more

I bought this for my sister's wedding after party. Comes with everything you need for a seafood boil with the exception of not coming with a paddle. We had 23 people so the amount of food we had to cook in there had to be done separately (shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage and crab legs) but for a shindig for 8-12, everything could've been cooked in one to two batches. Easy to clean and store. We felt safe using the product with it having an open flame. I recommend taking out the battery for the ignition switch so the battery doesn't die while being stored just in case it gets pressed up against something. ... show more

It was easy to assemble, I used it to can green beans outside instead of using electric stove. Help two was now electric used and air conditioner did have to run more cause did heat the house up.
