I needed this for Halloween because the version at my local costume shop was too snug. I am 5’10, 240 pounds, wear a size 36-38 in jeans, XL to 2XL in shirts and the 3XL in this fit me perfect. The belt was a little small I could only get to the second hole for the tightest yet most comfortable fit but the first hole was perfect. The pants are a bit more poofy than I was expecting but that’s not really a big issue. The kimono sleeves are a tad short but I think that might be the purpose for it to not line up exactly with the shirt sleeves. Definitely size up a size or two from your normal size and you’ll be fine. It also came with the socks which I didn’t realized when I ordered this so that was a nice surprise. I love the costume, I was told to order a size up since i'm XL in US sizes and they usually run asian sizes, took the plunge and ordered an XL size since i'm still losing weight. It all fit perfectly! I liked how the pants were stretchy, probably why I was able to fit into it, the only downside was there are no belt loops so I constantly had to adjust the belt to make the buckle be in the front. Because of this, it's a 4 star instead of a 5 star. It can be easily fixed if I sew belt loops later on though so i'll try that and give my review again. I am putting together my Mitsuri costume for Halloween but also my partner and I want to eventually do cosplay events as Mitsuri and Obanai, so I wanted to buy something higher quality that I can use multiple times. I was hesitant about ordering from Amazon but the options are honestly limited for her character. This kit is surprisingly high quality, and also very beautiful and accurate to her outfit. The only con is for me (5’6) the socks only come to my knees. I have ordered a different pair that are supposed to come up to the thighs. I am a size US 6 in pants, 27in waist but I have a booty and thighs so I sometimes have trouble with sizing. I got a large and it’s fits perfect, I could have gone with a medium especially for my waist area but the large gives me plenty of movement through the shoulders and arms where the medium may have been a bit too snug there. ... show more

The costume is good quality for the money. A size Large fits my 5ft7, approximately 125lb daughter. - There is extra room in the waste and legs - if you are larger in the arms, this might be a too tight. - The belt is very large, but doesn’t have enough holes- easy fix. - There are also no belt loops on the garnet- again, easy fix. - Daughter thinks the head piece is slightly too large. My daughter is 11 but wears an adult small sometimes medium. She has an XL on and it is the right oversized fit. She loves it. It is just out of the package so it looks sloppy, but a good steam should crisp it up. I sought a different deans and sent it back and so glad I found this one before ordering the correct size in the other. Quality is so much better ... show more

The quality was so much better than my 1st one I got from another brand ,unfortunately the shipping time is a lot longer so may not get in time for Halloween, but I have to recommend this one for the quality. From the belt loops to actually padding the shoulders a bit in the top . Great fit and feel but tops are too small . Give me this in a 2 day delivery and this would be a no brainer. ... show more

While the leg straps will need to be pinned so they don't unsnap while I walk, everything else fit great. I got it two sizes bigger and it's really comfortable. The fabric is of great quality and feels nice to wear.
