The color is more burgundy than bright red. My daughter wanted it because the picture was bright red, personally I am relieved it’s more burgundy. It matches the rest of the decor better. Thankfully she was still thrilled when she saw it, regardless of what she wanted initially. For that reason I’m not taking away any stars for the color difference. It seems well made and she claims it’s comfortable. I like the fact that it comes with a lightweight blanket. It won’t be enough on its own for cold winter days, but it is usable even in the summer without being too heavy. Best of all, now that she has her own special “big girl, grownup” sheet set (that happens to match mom and dad’s) she is eager to make her own bed just like mommy does. I purchased two of these sets (one for each of my boys). Both the sheets and comforter are very soft. We have washed the comforters at least every other week for 6+ months now and they have held up great. I would definitely recommend this product.

I ordered a total of 3 sets. Ordered two blush pink sets with grid design for my girls for their toddler beds for Christmas. Was super disappointed when I got them out of the package and the texture of the quilt felt like a hospital blanket. The design is nice and the color is nice, however the quality is not. The quilt is paper thin and on the stiff side (not cuddley at all) and the sheet is so thin you can almost see through it. It also surprised me the pillowcase is for a toddler pillow and not standard size pillow. I also purchased the red in the diamond print for my son. It is great! The quality is great and the texture is perfect! It is something he can snuggle with that fits around him and isn’t stiff. The quilt is also thicker and the sheets seem to have a higher thread count than the pink one. I also was surprised the red set came with a flat sheet and a standard size pillowcase. However the color red should be listed as maroon because it is not “red” like in the description. Overall I would purchase the red set again for my girls in pink but don’t want to deal with the hassle of returning it. Wouldn’t spend money on the pink grid set. ... show more
