First and foremost, this is an outdoor rug. Some negative reviewers mention how it looks inside their home; however, this is and looks like a patio rug. It is priced like a patio rug so do not expect this to be a plush indoor area rug. The rug is rolled fairly tight when you get it takes a few days to flatten out. The light gray color is exactly as described, light gray with small, checkered stitching. The rug appears to be well-made, and I am happy with this purchase. These runners (in 2 different colors) were purchased as temporary flooring in bathrooms that are being fully remodeled. After comparing several options, I felt this style would serve our needs for the short term. As a very discriminating consumer, I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality exceeds my expectations. Note that it took 2 days for the rolled material to relax & lie completely flat, but since then neither rug has scooted or crept---even though they're walked on daily. I'm seriously considering buying longer runners to provide traction on stairs, installed over synthetic felt padding. I'm confident these rugs will be easy to maintain with a vacuum, but if needed could be hosed off outside. Except for their serged edges, the textures & shading of the material actually resembles woven seagrass rugs that cost $12-15 per square yard! ... show more

I bought several of these rugs when I moved almost 2 years ago. They have aggressive while weaving in them. I like the blue rugs better than the brown. Two years later, the rug in my family room (most used room so high traffic) is fraying and has become almost fuzz. I don’t wear shoes in the house. The ones is less used rooms are holding up okay, but the edges aren’t straight and never fully flattened, no matter how many things I laid on top of them. Even tried the hairdryer hack, no luck. The rugs are ok for the price, but definitely won’t last very long. I’ll probably trash at least the family room one this summer. Pic with my pup and pic with the blue rugs in my dining/reading room is when I first got them. Other two pics are now, 2 years later to show the fuzzy fraying. ... show more

    • Wow this is awful - and difficult to return

Pretty color - that's the only thing good about it. I realize it's cheap, but... The edges would not straighten out, even after having boxes of chairs on them for 48 hours. It looked terrible. It was like it was warped or something. I do not recommend. I bought this size on amazon and a larger size somewhere else that could get it to me fast enough before I had a party (two different locations out side required two different sizes). Both sizes were terrible - it's the rug. I am returning that as well. I had to spend time with Amazon on chat, because there was no option to drop off at UPS without having to repackage it yourself. I called them, but the customer service person on Amazon would not budge, so I used the chat function. The guy on chat was much nicer and arranged it so I could drop it off at UPS without repackaging it. Given that you have to slice open the long plastic tube it comes in, this is what you need. So if you make the mistake of buying it anyway - yes the color is pretty - be sure to be careful how you unpack it so you have the full plastic tube to try to shove it back into (good luck with that anyway). ... show more

Bunches up and won't lie flat. Unfortunately, this rug arrived accordion folded! After steaming, weighting it down, etc. it has never flattened in over a year. The fabric is attractive and looks lovely but I would not recommend this item.

Not sure what "type" of rug this is, but it's a pretty common style/make and this rug is just like the thousands of others that I've seen just like it. It's a very neutral light gray and rolls out smoothly. It's fairly thin, but is "stiff" and doesn't wrinkle under your feel. You might like to use a non-slip pad or sticker-dots with it, but that's on you. We're using it as an outdoor rug to protect feet from the hot concrete (2X12ft runner) and it's working out well... and for a decent price. Bonus — shipping was s'posed to be two weeks but they came in two day (we ordered four runners). Woot! ... show more

I needed a rug to layer under my smaller one for my son's nursery and it works perfectly! This is the beige color. Easy to clean with a vacuum and doesn't slide at all! The edges did stick up a bit at the front and back from where it was rolled but easily go down after having something heavy on top of them for about a day. No smell upon arrival and the texture is nice under the feet. ... show more
