I got these a few days ago for my allergies during high pollen days. The sponge like material is so comfortable I forget they're in place. I even wear while sleeping. It's great to wake up and be able to breathe! I plan on using them the next time I clean my garage. The floor gets so dusty and sweeping just stirs it up to where I can see the dirt when I blow my nose later in the day...yuck! In the past I bought some really expensive nose filters. They work but they're not very comfortable, with a little filter held in place by a plastic housing. I will save those for flu season when better filtration might be needed. The black color is the only drawback to these. They are very noticeable. That's ok, these will be fine for when I'm at home, which is the majority of the time I'll be wearing them. Since I knew the color before i ordered, I can't fault them for that, I give them five stars for a great product! ... show more

These seem smaller than a brand that I previously purchases. These plugs are circular in shape (13mm) with a coned top that peaks at ~13mm from the base. Distance between the plugs, measured along inside of connecting strip is 15mm. If the plugs were egg shaped with 16mm distance top to bottom then I might be able to get good fit. With them being completely circular, and on the medium to small size, I can shine a light right past them, to the back of the nostrils! UPDATE: If I place the plugs so the bottom edge is flush with the rim of the nose, instead of placing them up into the nose, I have found I can use narrow strips of 3M Durapore tape to cover any air gap between the nostril edges and plugs. ... show more

I bought these because I have chickens that I have for laying eggs. You can't get around chickens without getting dusted so I use these to keep my allergies from being attacked by the dust. While it works I do have issues every now and then where a filter won't seat as tightly as I would like and it will let air come in between the outside of the filter and my nose. But this is about 1 in 10 so far and I have only used ~20. ... show more

I was truly amazed by how well these nose filters worked. Really comfortable to wear while still able to breathe normally through the nose. Upon receiving them I noticed a very slight smell, so I put them in on open container for a day to air out and now has no smells at all. Highly recommend these especially for anyone doing spray tans. I love these nasal filters! I am a spray tanner and a registered nurse so I want to make sure my clients are not exposed to any chemicals that may harm their lungs. These nasal filters do the trick! love these things, they keep out a lot of stuff i would otherwise be breathing in, i have cats, they sleep on the bed at night, these keep cat hair and pretty much everything out of my nose when i am sleeping.

Great price and product. They don't have a plastic-y odor that a lot of brands have. Suggest pulling them apart and having client insert one into each nostril - if you leave them connected it could leave a little stripe under their nose where the spray tan doesn't hit.
