I have only used this pour spout measuring cup for candle wax. When using this for pouring wax into small mold cavities. It's perfect! The drawback. I can't get the wax off the inside of the measuring cup!!😭 The great news is if I can't get the wax off. Throw it away and get another!

This is sturdy, well made. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so it was perfect. As someone else suggested in a review, just use a sharpie to mark your markings on the side as it extremely difficult to see them. I'm not sure if this is a sign that the item isn't sturdy or if Amazon's shipping and handling just sucks.... The handle is in pieces.... it was shipped in just a bag, so who knows. I'll update when I get one in tact with a more in depth review of the product itself. *EDIT: I received a replacement for the first one, and the replacement came in BROKEN! When I tried to get a replacement for the second broken one, Amazon wouldn't let me do it. I called Customer Service (which is hell to get ahold of) and the rep was able to get a replacement issued. He told me that I would not have to send the second broken one back. So I threw it away. When the third one came in, finally in one piece, I received a notice stating that I had to return the old one or I would be charged for it. So I was charged twice for something that had to be replaced twice and was NOT worth the money to begin with.... love that. :/ ... show more

I bought this to do oil changes on my generator. I got tired of spilling and over filling with oil. This has an easy to read measuring chart and the spout fits nicely into the filler.

I've bought several of these and they definitely live up to the Norpro name. They are roughly 4.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches diameter on the cup portion [plus spout]. The width of the spout is about 1/2 inch wide. This makes it an idea container not just for soaping but for anything that requires a controlled pour such as pouring water into an iron or filling homemade beer/kombucha bottles. Volume of the unit is measured out at up to 28 oz or 900 ml. The handle is nicely over-sized for the unit making it easy to hold onto and very stable because of the curved wall of the handle. These units are also stackable, so that several of them take up very little space when not in use. I've given a couple away to newbies and the grandkids to start their businesses and keep a couple on hand myself so that I'm not constantly cleaning them from batch to batch. Norpro funnel pitchers hold up well to microwave use and boiling liquids. Spout doesn't warp or bend, and my first one is still as easy to clean as the new ones. My experience is that they are very hard to etch with chemicals and will have a long life. ... show more
