Before buying I read all the reviews, read the bad ones- that brushes are falling apart or paint is not easily mixed etc. Honestly I think people weren’t using the medium like linseed oil for mixing 💀 it works perfectly. This is a great beginners kit, for starters you will need to acknowledge that oil paint does not dry as fast as acrylic or water colors. It will take several days to dry. It’s definitely a learning curve BUT this kit is nice. The paint consistency is like higher quality brands. You will need more than just this kit though like a medium such as linseed oil to make the paint blend better and it can speed up drying time and paint thinner to clean the brushes. I would also recommend to pick up a kit of brushes because the brushes in this are not the best. This will get you started enough to learn what you need and what you like. ... show more

I really love this set, it comes with a variety of different colors, the pallete is a metal and not cheap plastic so it’s easy to clean! I really have not found a paint set that is reasonably priced and still worth it but this one is! One tip though if you decide to get oil paints is get a medium like turpentine. It’s not included in this set.. but yeah I’m really glad I made the choice to buy this in quarantine 10/10! And the package came faster than expected! ... show more

Great value! Lots of colors, and a variety of brushes. I'm not sure why, but they even include watercolor sponges. If you're just starting or are a shut in rolling up your last tubes, this is a great choice. They even have oddball colors, not kooky or anything, but pre-mixed flesh tone, for example, isn't something you find in a standard set. What's interesting about the set is the brushes, which are high quality for a great price. Highly recommend. ... show more

There was no palette knife included with my set like in the product photos. I needed a palette knife which was why I decided to purchase this set, so that’s pretty annoying. Paint is fine and good variety of colors.

This included everything you need, a starter kit of brushes, which are definitely high quality. It doesn’t feel as though the bristled will fall out. There are tons of paints, and they are the perfect consistency for beginners and pros alike, they’re not too runny, but not too thick either. And the paint pallet was made out of metal! This set has everything you need! The oil is a little thick, but is very easy to thin out. The brushes are very sturdy, and I have yet to see one fall apart.
