The normal width runs a bit wide. Don't buy the wide width unless you are sure you are a very wide width. If you do it may not hold your foot sturdy enough.

I've had foot, knee, and back problems for years, and these shoes eliminated 90% of it in just a few weeks. I'm not in NEARLY as much pain as I used to be. The shell is sturdy, though the strap on one of them came off early on. Didn't matter since I didn't really care or use it anyway. Great for work at a fast good place: non skid seems to work, invulnerable to hot grease, and openings/holes in front or sides. They're not pretty, but for comfort, they can not be beat. ... show more

Been using the shoes in the kitchen for a few days now. Very, very comfy and safe. Only issue, the shoes to not breath so it gets a lttle humid in there after 7 or 8 hours on your feet. But very good value for money and great quality.

They work well as a kitchen employee. I've used these for a few months now, and the tread has held up surprisingly well. The straps broke off easily from lightly rubbing against a door at work sadly, but I don't really use them anyway. The main gripe with these is the hard bubble-textures on the bottom of your feet can be painful after a few shifts, and they never really wear down. I'd recommend getting a half size to size larger and getting decent inserts to hopefully counter it. If it weren't for those I'd give these another star. ... show more

Out of the box, one of the grip soles was separating from the upper part of the shoe. The grip sole appeared to just be glued to the upper, and a cheap glue job it was. Follow-up: I returned the shoes, and the company DID contact me about the above-mentioned problem. They offered a new pair (with a slightly different grip sole I believe) which are comfortable and working out just fine. ... show more

These are fantastic and the slip resistance is the best I've encountered in 14 years in a kitchen. It's helped my back and legs a lot because you can walk normally with confidence instead of duck walking so you don't fall
