I had to do a lot of research when replacing a very old Trane Weathertron mercury thermostat. So many wires! But I figured it out and got this installed and working. Everything works perfect BUT for whatever reason when the backlight is off, I can see all the modes on the screen which makes it hard to see what the temperature is without turning the backlight on. No one else here seems to have this problem, so I guess it's just my unit. It doesn't affect the way it works at all so I will just deal with it I guess. ... show more
