My sofa bed became much more firm with this under the flimsy mattress. I also added a memory foam mattress made for sofa beds but used it as a topper above the flimsy original mattress. The combo of the three: these boards, original mattress, and the topper made all the difference. My guests slept through the night in comfort. The boards are heavy but I can fold them and store in the closet between visitors. I recommend this product. ... show more

I have a queen size bed frame and this does not fit a queen bed. The first one I bought but, didn’t read that it was for a pull out queen. So, I ordered a 2nd one which was for a full size queen bed and it didn’t fit. I ended up just using both to support the mattress

[WORKS AS DESCRIBED] Product functions as describes. No more feeling the support beam or sagging, while laying down or sitting up. All similar products appear to also have a 48 inch length as you do not need the extra support for your legs/feet. Other products are 8mm or 6mm. I chose this extra thick 10mm version to avoid the boards bending or snapping. [SLEEPER SOFA] If using a sleeper sofa, then you must remove the boards to fold up the sleeper sofa. However, the folds fold and add support under the seat cushions. [HARD!!] The boards are very firm and sturdy, which makes it hard. I'm using it for a compact queen sleeper sofa that only functions with a 2.5 inch mattress. I believe adding a 4 inch tri-fold topper (for storage) would do the trick. If your mattress is already thick, then I think you will not feel the board. ... show more
