We bought this rocking chair and it was easy to put together. It is extremely comfortable and cute (not clunky like some other chairs). We noticed right away the chair was creaking in the backing making it not enjoyable to rock our newborn. We contacted the seller and they were able to send us a new one right away. The media could not be loaded. ok, i’ll try to break down my review into each category. *** impressions - the chair is a bit smaller than i expected. i pulled out the dimensions the product says it is, and held up the tape measure comparing to my current rocking chair. it seemed a few inches smaller all around, but more or less the same size. … needless to say… that was a bit incorrect. it is definitely smaller than i expected, even after subtracting a couple inches. by smaller i mean, shorter, and slimmer. my husband hasn’t sat in it yet, but i definitely don’t have the same amount of leg crossing room i did in my previous chair. i also, can touch the floor with both feet while sitting back (i am 5’3 for reference), whereas i’ve never sat in a rocker i could do that in. i’m not complaining about being able to touch the floor, just caught off guard. *** shipping - i did not like having to pay for shipping (don’t usually need to with prime). but the item shipped relatively fast. i ordered it on 1/19 and received it on 1/24. however, the box did come ripped up and damaged, which did concern me for how the product would be inside. also, ironically, the box specifically says to open carefully as returns are only accepted in the original box, yet my box was damaged. *** assembly - i assembled this on my own, but it would’ve been less of a pain in the ass if i had a second set of hands helping. all of the holes were correctly size and lined up, and even though the instructions had no words, it was easy enough to follow the photos. it was pretty difficult to hold these huge pieces together while simultaneously screwing bolts in, but i made it work with the help of pushing it against the wall. the bottom screw (that screws the backrest into the seat) was by far the most difficult screw as you had to push it together really tightly while screwing. overall wasn’t too hard but wasn’t very fun. *** functionality - the chair does what it’s supposed to do. i rocked my toddler to sleep in it for his nap today, and was not uncomfortable nor dissatisfied with the chair. however, i did find that the chair does move backward after a while of rocking. maybe i need to have carpet under it? or maybe some traction tape? the bottom wood pieces have little felt pads, which i’m sure contributed toward the movement. the chair is not *un*comfortable, but i will admit it is a bit less comfortable than it looks to be. it is soft and warm and padded, but if i had to critique the comfort, i would say it could use some more padding. *** experience compared to reviews - some people said the chairs legs are in the way and too long, i found that not to be true. they are not in the way nor do they seem like a tripping hazard. i do agree that you can’t really lay your head backward, given the height of the back, but that’s not really an issue for me. *** overall - i don’t mind the chair. i wish it was more similar to how it seems online, but it is close enough that i can’t say they lied lol. i’m glad it wasn’t more costly than it was, otherwise i’d probably be disappointed. for having to ship in pieces, the assembly wasn’t too difficult, and i did receive all the hardware. i like the look of it, so will obviously keep it for a while. ... show more

This is a great rocker for the price. It’s comfortable for people of different heights, fairly easy to assemble, and despite needing to tighten the bolts a few times after constant use, it’s holding up well.

Assembly was so so, there was a hole for the arm that wasn’t where it should have been, was just a bit off but it did not defect the chair in any way. It is nice &sturdy. I got the Sherpa one &it’s soft but not SO soft that it’s going to make you sweat like some Sherpa type things will. It looks nice &matches the aesthetic of my living room, comfy &serves its purpose. I just rocked my baby to sleep on it yesterday &we both were comfortable. Doesn’t rock as easily as a glider but it’s not a glider so that’s no surprise. A lot of the reviews I seen on gliders were hit &miss which is why I went with this chair &I would fully recommend this chair as far as looks, comfort, assembly &purpose being served. ... show more

Delivery was very fast, I received it much sooner than expected. Customer service was outstanding! Prompt, helpful and polite! The first chair I ordered was very loud and squeaky…not ideal when rocking a little one to sleep. The seller tried to help trouble shoot the problem and ended up sending a new one. Again VERY quick delivery. The second chair is perfect! Soft, cozy, rocks easily, pink color is accurate from photos, easy to assemble. FYI the back of the chair does not come high enough to rest your head back on it, but I was aware of this prior to purchasing it and ok with that. For reference, I am 5’6” and it comes to my neck height. Highly recommend. ... show more

We needed a second rocking chair for downstairs to use with our baby. He has to be rocked to sleep most of the time. This was fairly easy to put together- one of the parts was broken and the owner send a new package with new parts very quickly. Took my husband about 20 minutes to put together. It’s very comfortable and a good size for the room. I love the high back. It doesn’t have quite the rocking range of our more expensive one in the nursery but this is perfect for what we needed it for. My son has fallen asleep in it already so it definitely works and looks great. ... show more
