After getting tired of seeing this, I decided some artificial grass would help make them look nicer. They definitely serve this purpose wonderfully. It really brightens up my window wells. Compared to other similar products the value here seems to be about average to low-average, it's more affordable than most but definitely doesn’t look as nice. What I enjoyed most about the NINXANG turf was that the listed value given the coverage area is quite affordable. Just keep in mind that up close it doesn’t look that great. For affordable grass like decorations this will work just fine. Description: Approximately 0.4” thickness. Measured in at 72.75” x 48’.25” so very close to the described 4’ x 6’ description. I found that at certain angles the color can be a light-yellow green while at other angles it can be dark green (see images). I waited 5 days after receiving this product to be fair in my review. Hopefully this additional information will be helpful with your experience should you purchase this. This grass arrived tightly rolled and in tarp like material. Upon opening and unrolling small black dots fell all over my floor. After investigation these small black dots were the perforated bits of the drain holes. Ideally This should have been thoroughly shook out at the manufacturer, but since it is not, open and unrolled it outside rather than in your home. Because the grass is so tightly rolled in the packaging, it has strong crease lines and my first reaction was disappointment. After 5 days of letting it breathe, and raking it (an old trick from the 80’s to keep your carpet fluffy) the creases did relax to more realistic lawn mower lines. The color green is pretty. The length of the longest blade is 1/4 inch and accurate in this listing. It will not be fluffy nor will it look or feel like real grass. The edges are not fully sealed and have frayed pieces of material. The price is fair for the quality. I got this to use on an outdoor cat condo I built. I lined the bottom level in this artificial grass and it came out well. The grass is very short, which was perfect for my project. The condo sits in the sun most of the day and the grass doesn't appear to be losing any color yet.

Rubber on bottom is actually nicely done and is thick enough as a cover, rolls out and lays down fairly well and the synthetic grass feels good to walk on, not like the real looking higher quality turfs in how it looks or feels but it actually is not that bad. (Pic 1) Looks and feels like it will hold up for my needs which is to simple cover a low traveled dirt area without any rocks, bumps or debris. Can be easily trimmed or cut to size. Does allow water to drain out not very quickly but does drain. (Pic 2) Has held in place without moving around I have it tucked under flooring (pic 3) on one end and just freely placed up against wall on the other end. Still need to put down edge trim which should add to secureness. Not as lush as shown, it lays flat due to packing/rolling. Overall, it works for me not sure on how long it will hold up so can't speak to that. Would recommend depending on your need. (Light to mild use) ... show more

I got this to use for an upcoming camping trip. I plan to place it in front of our tent. After I unpacked and unrolled it, I could smell a strong chemical smell. I plan on leaving it outside a few days to allow it to dissipate. This could be useful for decorating an area with light traffic but I don’t think it will hold up well for constant foot traffic as the pile is very low. Or like in my case, for occasional use. If it’s for a pet then I think this would be a good value for the size and cost. ... show more

    • Thinner than expected, no drain holes?

I asked for this sample hoping for a better product as pictured. I need plenty more to cover my entire patio. I'll give this some time to recover from being rolled up to ship it. As it stands the green 'turf' fibers are pretty well flattened out and it feels very thin because of this. Also, I didn't find any drainage holes as they show and mention in the write up. I don't need that as I don't have pets. Just mentioning it because they say it has the holes. I would like a thicker 'turf' feel so I'll look for a better product. This works but isn't as padded as I would like and for kids play ground, yes you can feel the gravel so kids would get hurt if they fell and slid on it. Update: It's been unrolled and flat for over a week and the green blades still do not stand up. This feels little more than if you laid a blanket down and walked on it. I was hoping for more cushioning on bare feet around the hot tub. Expensive for what it actually is. ... show more
