Rarely purchase refurbished items, but I took a chance with this Switch. It was a good bet! Everything works well, was cleaned, individually wrapped. The only missing items were the original box and the documentation that it came with. Luckily, if you've owned a Switch before, it isn't necessary. The only minor issue with it is there's a permanent stain on one of the joycons. Unwashable. I'm sure it was returned like that - nothing you can do about it. But that's the nature of buying refurbished or used - you have a chance that your item isn't 100% perfect. It's a super minor issue, but it'll always bug me because it stands out against everything else looking so pristine. Also, I'm wary about the battery life - it drains a liiiiittle bit faster than I would have anticipated, which means they refurbished an older item and didn't replace the battery. I'm a bit miffed about that. That was the whole reason for me buying a new one - my old Switch battery isn't doing so great nowadays. When I had orderd the item I had no idea it was Refurbished, but was already to late when I realized. But so far I'm very happy, it's in mint condition, runs grate. Batter has been holding for almost 8-9hrs. Controllers has no stick drift, buttons are crisp 👌and ive been using it for 2-3 days now no issues. Definitely happy with my purchase. ... show more

My son's switch gave out on him a few months ago and his birthday was coming up, so I was looking into getting the new OLED switch for him. After seeing the Renewed option that was a little cheaper, i decided to go for it. It came in a generic brown box which was a little disappointing, but i expected that might happen. There is nothing better than seeing the look on your childs face when they unwrap a gift and they see on the box what it is. I had to wait for him to open the box and see the switch before i got that part. Very small thing and something to expect when youre saving $50. The product looks great and works great. I couldnt tell the difference between this one and a brand new switch. It came with all the accessories and there was no damage to anything. He's been playing it every day for a few months now and it performs as expected. ... show more

I would say this is worth it. I wanted to write this review for people that don’t know if they should get the refurbished model or for those who are skeptical. In my opinion. This is a good product! It doesn’t come with the factory box which isn’t a big deal to me but it comes with everything that should be included, and by looks, it’s all brand new to me!
