  • Much improvement over the OEM headlamps.
Size: H11/H8/H9
I purchased these H11 LED bulbs for my 2017 Toyota Camry SE. The bulbs they replaced were the OEM halogen bulbs that came with the car and were going on six years old. The original bulbs had dimmed a bit over time, but were still functional. I thought I'd give these LED H11 replacement bulbs a try to see if it helped lighting the road at night. I received the bulbs in excellent condition. I had no issues installing them. My car had ample space to fit my rather large hands onto the bulb socket on each side of the vehicle. I did not have to remove either the battery or windshield washer reservoir to easily access the bulb sockets. I literally removed both old bulbs and installed the replacement LED bulbs in less than five minutes. Note that on the 2017 Camry SE, the low beam sockets are on the fender sides of the car, and the high beams are closer to the radiator. If you only replace the low beams, you want to replace the ones closest to the fender. You will need a small flat blade screwdriver or similar tool so that you can release the snap holding the existing bulb in the socket. It's effortless and could be done with any small flat blade tool the will fit the slot. While not an overwhelming increase in brightness over the OEM bulbs, it is quite noticeable. The color temperature is a big change and makes, at least for me, a big difference in driving at night. The big jump in color temp from around 3200K of the OEM bulbs to the 6500K of the LEDs absolutely illuminates different, and for me, better. The included photos is of the low beams illuminating my garage door after going for the first test drive at night after replacing the OEM bulbs. The illumination to me is cleaner and more evenly distributed than the OEM halogen bulbs. Thesw LED bulbs do seem to be a brighter than the OEM bulbs, but of course those were also six years old and had dimmed a bit. However, the big change to me is that the beam seems to throw further down the road than the old OEM bulbs, or makes objects reflect the light landing on them reflect better. I don't know if that's due to the increased brightness or the color temperature or a combination of the two. For me though, they did all I could ask for in a reasonably priced direct replacement LED bulb. I was concerned about LED replacement bulbs for my Camry causing that "laser beam" effect that is often complained about, but these are LED and not HID bulbs. I did not encounter any other cars approaching mine when I was driving after dark that flashed their lights at me when using low beams. Since these made a significant improvement for me when driving at night, I ordered another set to replace the high beam bulbs. I had no issues with the original OEM bulbs regarding the high beams, but now the color temperatures now match regardless of which mode my headlights are in. I cannot speak to longevity since I have only had these a short time, but so far they have performed perfectly and I've had no issues with flicker or complaints on the car dashboard about the headlights being different. If these LED bulbs fail early or cause issues down the road (sorry for the pun), I'll update this review. Since the original OEM bulbs were still functional at nearly six years and 52,000 miles, I do have a reference for these LED bulbs to match or best. With these being reasonably priced (I paid about $22.00 US for two LED bulbs 2023), their being an easy to install and direct replacement for the OEM bulbs in my 2017 Camry without need for any kind of adapters or additional wiring harness, and giving a significant improvement in lighting for my night driving, I rate these 5-Stars. ... show more

  • Bright headlights were easy to install
Size: H4/9003
I kept having my headlights go out in my 2008 Highlander, so I thought I'd try these. I was especially motivated by the fact that the pair of these was about he same cost as one traditional headlight bulb. I had no issues installing these. I was concerned that they might be too bright for other drivers, but no one has flashed their brights at me when I'm driving, so I don't think this is an issue. However, they do make it easier for me to see at night, especially when I use the high beams. I've been using them now for several months and I haven't had one burn out, so I'm happy. ... show more

  • I like them in 2005 Suzuki VStrom DL650 motorcycle! Adjustment feature a little weird.
Size: 9005/HB3
In short - I LIKE THEM! Highly recommended at bulbfacts.com. Pics attached: Stock pic from Amazon with my doodles on it, one Halogen LO beam in Strom, one LED LO beam in Strom, one LED and one Halogen LO beam in my Xterra. Note on the two Strom pics, I tried to get the exposure the same to accurately represent the increased brightness of the LED. This was difficult, but I came close. If you look at the surroundings you can see that the LED pic is slightly less-exposed than the Halogen pic, so the increased brightness is even greater than it looks. That's why I included the Xterra pic. I first tried them a couple weeks ago in my Xterra, type 9007. That car has kinda poor headlights, and these bulbs really helped that. I can't speak to reliability, but the performance is great. I attached a pic of the Xterra low beams with one LED and one Halogen; it's helpful because on a car the lights are far enough apart to distinctly see their beam patterns separately. We did a road trip, partially at night, and both my bride and I were duly impressed in real life. I would have preferred no fans, but according to Headlightrevolution.com, cooling fans are not high risk failure points on LED bulbs. On the Gen 1 the bulbs are kinda protected under the dash and these units are IP65 rated for water splashing; hopefully that will be OK. They have the highly regarded CREE LEDs and position them very tightly and accurately to replicate the filament position of a Halogen bulb, very important for the reflector to work right for cutoff, etc. One thing I want to mention. In the attached Amazon pic I circled the adjustment feature; you can rotate the bulb in the flange base, with detents at 45 degree increments. I can't fathom why this would be useful, since H4 bulbs are designed to orient a certain way, with the filament layout a certain way, and the little cup at the bottom facing upward. Rotating them more than a few degrees - and I verified this on the Strom - just makes the beam pattern jacked. That said, I don't feel that Nineo put the detents in quite the right alignment. The correct (and default) detent hole holds the bulb vertical, cup at the bottom facing up, with the vertical plane of the bulb "blade" aligned with the upper tab on the mounting flange. (It's not shown this way in the attached Amazon pic, but comes out of the box that way.) On my standard halogen H4's this was not quite the same; with that upper tab straight up, the bulb (non-adjustable of course) is rotated slightly CCW (counter clockwise) as viewed from behind the bulb, as when riding the bike. So the Nineo bulbs, in the closest detent, were rotated slightly CW. The beam pattern and cutoff were still good, but the cutoff was sloped a bit, higher on the left, lower on the right. This is backward for American roads...you want it level, or if anything slightly sloped the other way (lower on the left) because the oncoming traffic is on your left. (This may work in favor of those of you in left-hand drive locations.) I rotated mine slightly out of the detent to make the beam pattern slope slightly lower on the left, and there seems to be enough friction with the ball-spring to hold it in this position. We'll see if they stay put. Adjustment is a simple matter of grabbing the heat sink and rotating. I could also remove the mounting flanges and file one side of each tab to allow them to rotate in the headlight housings, but that would be a bit of a pain. I think the adjustment feature would be much more useful if it was designed to be a fine adjustment, rather than a 45 degree adjustment. Even if I put them in the detent, with the cutoff sloping slightly the wrong way, I think they would work OK; they'd still be very good for me, but the cutoff wouldn't be quite as optimal for oncoming traffic. They did require vertical adjustment. I had marked my surface for the beam pattern with the old bulbs before removal. The rubber boots fit fine, just install the flange base first, then the boot over that, then insert the bulb into the flange base. They have a harness with a driver box, no problem on the Gen 1 Strom, plenty of room for them. I removed the dash and gages as access was SO much easier, and used double sided tape and zip ties to secure the drivers up under the lower dash brackets. I took it for a short drive and was very pleased. I ride daily and often come home after dark, especially as the season changes, so I'll get lots of chances to use them soon. Fingers crossed for the longevity and that the rotation stays put. ... show more

  • Did not fit our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Size: H11+9005
These lights are seeming of great quality and plug right in, quality is not questioned in this review! However they did not fit our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Per Amazon's auto parts matching tool these were advertised to fit our vehicle, but the 9005 lights were incorrect for our vehicle.

  • LED UPGRADE - A must for night rides
Size: H4/9003
Have not used them for a night trail ride yet but I can already tell they will work great. Much brighter and whiter than the upgraded halogen I had installed prior to this.

  • Better than previous models
Size: H11/H8/H9
These are absolutely amazing. They have a smaller base then a couple years ago and plug right in. No extra boxes to get in the way and they're just as bright, possibly brighter. Only time will tell . Love them for now. Oh yeah, they're half the price, how's this possible?
