Womens tops are so variable in size that it impossible to comment on the overall size. I do know that XL tops usually fit me the way I like (I like some ease in all my tops) even though I'm technically a 12. This top is comfortable and the fabric is super soft. The criss cross straps are pretty loose and I'll probably alter them since they sag. Soo.. if you wear knit tops snug, this should be perfect, but if you like some ease, the straps will be too long. Its an easy fix to shorten the cross straps, so all in all this top is super cute and doesn't look like a sack when its a little looser. I only wish they offered some other prints that aren't animal prints, like tropical or other floral or simple prints. ... show more

Love this shirt so I bought in 2 colors for vacation. The body of the shirt fit exactly as expected. The criss crosses on the shoulder were a different story - very loose. I contemplated sending them back, but I ended up fixing them myself. I cut the bottom of the 2 strings on both sides and took off about 1.5-2" and sewed them back on. Perfect!
