Feels super nice in hand. Nice and slim. Not bulky at all. Almost feels like you don't have a case on your phone. I like that it has nice camera protection truly fits the phone like a glove. At first I thought the fitment was a little bit off, but then I realized it's probably due to the camera screen protector I had on the camera, I took that off and voila fits like a glove😁 The Magnet is nice and strong. Every attachment I put on the back of the phone snaps on nice and secure. I feel very confident that it will not detach. Edit 1/5/2024: I liked this case so much I bought it again for another pixel 8. I've already dropped the phone in this case at home and not a mark on this case. The fit is really good and the edges are tight. Wireless charging works. I also tested the magnets on my fridge, my range hood, the washer and dryer and where the camera bump doesn't get in the way, it will hold the phone up on those surfaces. The texture is less on the grippy side. I like this better than my previous cases-spigen thin fit and spigen liquid air. Original review: There weren't many options for cases that have magnets that work well for magsafe charging. I got this to try out and think it's good enough to get a second one for another pixel 8. The alignment had me worried but the pixel 8 is a smaller phone so it was maybe 5mm off from where my magnetic charger wanted to latch on the 8 without the case and would still charge. The magnets feel strong. For comparison, I have spigen liquid air on a pixel 7. I'm glad I went with this case over the liquid air. I was going to go with the google case if this didn't work but this had the full camera coverage and magsafe which is a bonus for the price. Note, there is a slight taper on each of the corners. I think you get 1.5mm on the edges and 2mm on the corners. Pros: 1. Polycarbonate adds stiffness where just tpu feel flimsy. This has the poly on the upper, camera and bottom so the whole case feels stiff and the fit is tight. It's more difficult to get this in and out of the case but the fit is better this way. The liquid air flexes too much around the screen but this almost doesn't want to flex unless you are prying it off the phone. This has a larger cut out for the speaker but even that feels stiff. The usb C area is the weakest but it actually feels better because of the stiffness around it. 2. Most of the bar is covered and again, there's polycarbonate there. 3. Texture is good, adds slight grip. Side buttons have texture but it's the same one. Cons: 1. The wrist/accessory sticks out more than I'd want. It feels more aggressive and sharp compared to the side buttons. 2. Magnets are covered by a black sticker. Would have preferred a microfiber backing in case dirt falls in somewhere. I don't know how dirt will be around the camera area. 3. Ignore the super frosted shield description. This is anything but frosted-solid black. Maybe they saved on packaging and have another frost magnetic case. ... show more

Well-made with strong magnets and perfect fit, but the textured sides only goes up half way. The important upper half, where your thumb goes to grip the phone, is left very slippery! A shame. I always blow through several cases when I get a new phone because you never know what it's going to be like in your hand. The main things I look for are coverage, thinness, and minimalism. With the Pixel 8, a big deal for me was to find something that covers that big camera visor. I did have one for about a month that was mostly perfect, but ultimately sort of lost its shape after being dropped a couple of times (it was SUPER thin). What led me to this case is that it occured to me that I may like something with a mag safe magnet in it. This one fits the bill as well as any others that I've come across: it covers the visor, with holes only for the camera lenses, the flash, and the microphone, it isn't too bulky and at least "feels" almost as thin as the phone itself, and despite all the little textures and embossed logos, maintains a pretty minimalist look. It is a sort of TPU-like material that is quite rigid, and has a good grippiness without being sticky like silicone. The texture on the back only adds to the grippiness, although on day one I realized that this will be a pain to clean if anything gets in between the little dots. The mag safe magnet is strong enough that your accessories won't slip off, but do note that there doesn't appear to be the little straight piece that helps alignment, only the circle. I have not tested this with docks/mounts. All in all, if you want the same things in a case as I do, this is going to be your best bet, and the cheapest. ... show more

Love the case. Solid, sleek, good case. I was under the impression however that the magnetic case would be able to stick to ferrous objects and it does not. There is a ring inbedded the back of the case that is ferrous and a magnet can stick to it. But it isn't what in my mind I would call magnetic.

First off, you might mistake this case for one of those flexible tpu cases but it's definitely not. The border of the phone is TPU but the back of the case is fairly hard and rigid giving it a great feel in your hand. It has a tight fit and being that it's a magsafe case, it's pretty thin. I've been looking for a case that has magsafe and most of them are thick because of the ring. Not only is this case thin so that it keeps the form of the phone, the ring is hidden so the circle doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. The case is initially slick but once it starts to pick up oils from your hand, the grip actually gets better over time. I've had these thin hard cases from nilkin before and usually they leave the buttons naked but they decided to cover them up this time with a nice grooved texture. There is a very very small lip on the front. The primary thing I love about this case is that it just feels like I'm rocking the phone naked because of the great hard feel of the case. ... show more
