I got these and the Nike Elemental gloves to try for weight lifting. These are labeled "lightweight" and the Elemental are labeled "midweight" as far as their padding, but honestly I couldn't tell any difference between the two. I ordered a size up (I am normally a medium, but got large) and they fit fine. They look pretty good as well IMO. Quality-wise, they are very similar - both felt pretty flimsy (thin) and the stitching is not the greatest. My old pair of Nike lifting gloves were far superior in terms of quality, but those were purchased almost 15 years ago, so I guess I would have to fork out a lot more to get similar quality gloves these days. I don't lift super heavy, so I think them being so lightweight will be fine for me. I wouldn't be surprised if these do not last very long though. Decided to keep these and return the Elemental, primarily because the Elemental were longer so my fitness tracker got in the way. If these last a year, I'll be pretty happy. ... show more

I've been using Harbinger gloves since my boyfriend introduced me to weight lifting a few years ago. I assumed a glove was a glove and I don't buy into the Nike supremacy. But they were the same-ish price and after working on my 2nd pair of Harbingers for the year, I thought I'd branch out. I'm 5'10", put in 5-6 hours a week, and can lift the big boy weights. Grateful I tried them, the Nike gloves have a superior fit to my hand and passed the durability test. These are men's gloves, but they fit this girl and pink is not an option. ... show more

I'm pleased with the quality and feel -- I use them for both floor exercises, weights and spin classes; but I'm a little disappointed in the fit. For me, an L (Large) in golf gloves, riding gloves and all other bicycle gloves are plenty big. These are just a bit too snug for true workout comfort.

As much as I want to like these gloves, the stitching in the left palm came apart the first time I used them. The sizing runs a bit small. After reading other reviews I compensated for this and ordered large and they fit perfect. My old workout gloves had some form of rubberized coating on the palms for additional grip which these do not have. All in all I suppose they serve their purpose, but I've had better. These gloves feel great and are well made. My only minor complaint is they are a pain to remove. I'm a solid medium in gloves and that's what I ordered but they seem to run a tad small.
