I played high-level tennis matches and coached state-contending tennis players over the years. My son-in-law and daughter each played thousands of matches throughout high school and college. A little expensive but good value. I've had several pair of these Nike's. Great style, quality and comfort. Each pair lasted me at least two years wearing every day. If they look dirty just put them in the washer and air dry. Will look nice again. Can't find better tennis shoes than these.

    • Nice! Also no squeak so far!
I bought these for my boyfriend who is a Nike snob. Now lets be honest, Nikes can be so expensive you need to take out a loan or sell a kidney to buy a pair. I stumbled on these which were affordable, leather & looked cool. I was nervous because of the tales of the dreaded Nike "squeak"..Still I took a chance & ordered them..So far so good. He loves them, they fit as expected, no squeak so far & he wears them everday. They've been comfortable & seem to be really well made. The box they came in looked like it had been in combat (what's up with that I wonder?) however, the shoes were new & perfect. I'd recommend trying them if you have doubts. UPDATE: Shoes are still in great shape. They seem to be wearing well but they have begun "Squeaking" in both shoes. You won't be Sneaking up on anyone in your Sneakers. UPDATE #2: I took the inserts out of the shoes & sprayed W10-40 in the holes (The attachable straw fits so oddly perfect..: ) I let them air out so his socks wouldn't smell, put the liners back in..Voila! Squeak was gone & hasn't came back so far. He's happier than a clam because he loves the look of these & how comfortable they are. I think Nike could benefit from talking to other shoe brands for advice on fixing this "squeak" issue of theirs.. Lol ... show more

I've been wearing this style Nike for many years now. I had to stand on cement floors at work for most of the work day. Supportive arch. Kept my feet happy all day long, which as any one that stands alot knows, great shoes help your posture / keep your back in better shape too. I loved them so much, always tried to keep a back-up pair on hand as with any shoe - after a number of months (I wore them on my days off too at home / chores / about town) for me - last on the inside for ~ 6 to 9 months, I beat them up pretty good on the inside. The outside actually still looked decent enough but more concerned about keeping my feet/arch happy. Nothing lasts forever - unless you sit at a desk and just walk to your car. Then, I'm sure - you'll likely keep a pair for a couple of years. I also walk in retirement in this Nike - around the area, cement/black top - and even where there are no sidewalks - dirt/grass, gravel. I walk a few miles several times a week. So, I still beat mine up on the inside! A few times, rained on me & my Nikes, too. But they've proven themselves worthy. I like the white, reflex the sun / goes with more clothes winter/summer. I've had these shoes fourteen days, I've worn them maybe, MAYBE six times, I haven't even got them wet yet, and they squeak when I walk. Ever step, and also when I'm just standing and shift my position. For seventy bucks I'd expect them to last a while. My last pair of these lasted two years, and they didn't start to squeak until the end. Another issue that I have is the pain. These shoes make my feet ache after two hours, just wearing them around the house. I don't know what they changed, but I've been wearing this exact model for over a decade, and after two hours of wear with these, just around the house, my feet ache sooo much it's a RELIEF to take them off! Looking at the reviews it seems others have had the same issue with squeaking. There are 411 reviews that mention squeaking. I really liked these shoes but I guess it's time to find another brand or model. Nike has been my go-to for athletic shoes for decades, but now that they use "vegan leather" and their quality has gone out the window, this will probably be my last pair that I buy. ... show more
