We were very pleased with the affordability of these side tables. We swapped out the hardware to brushed nickel handles foe less than $5.00 to match our room decor better. We preferred these nightstands over others because they were tall enough to have the top shelf at bed height.

They did take a long time to assemble, but I was prepared for that. There is paint missing on areas that show, so I will have to touch those up. The drawers don't open and close easily, so rub wax paper, not wax on the areas of contact. This will leave less of a build-up. I think they are overpriced, 25% less would be more reasonable. Here is my biggest beef, don't hold your breath waiting for these. I don't know if it's more the seller's fault or good old Fed-Ex. Way too long to get to me in Wisconsin and a typical illogical route via Fed-Ex: Fairfield CA to Tracy CA to Wendover UT to Bushnell NE to Grinnell IA to Chicago IL where they spent another 2 days before arriving at my Fed-Ex location. Size is great and the look for an old iron bed. Easy to put together. I did notice how easily the top scratches so I put a tray on each top to stop that. The drawers work well except the hook at the back that keeps the drawer from falling out catches on the clothes in there. Best for smaller items.

The build is good overall. I put together one and it looks above average. Okay to use with average furniture. The price is some what high given the material (not solid wood) and basic paint. Assembling is challenging. Many pieces to put together. The drawers don't have rails. So mostly for decoration or just putting something light. Not stable given the way it's put together. I searched for-ev-er for some tall nightstands. My bed is tall so short nightstands would look weird. I am so happy with these! The quality is much better than most furniture in a box. Literally, you can't even tell that I didn't buy them from a quality furniture store. It took a little while to put them together but I did so by myself with no help. Very happy with my purchase. While the stands were easy enough to put together, there were a lot of steps and a couple of pictures were difficult to follow. It would have been even better if they were just another inch or two in length and depth.
