These are by far the best acrylic paints that I have used in a long while! They are decently priced for the quality of the paint. This paint holds up really well, as well as it mixes very smoothly too. And when it dries, if there is enough paint there, which honestly doesn't take too much. The excess dries in a way that you could easily add texture to your painting without necessarily having to go out and purchase some other product to add to your paint to create the texture. Paint arrived in excellent condition. The bottles are made well and have a good inner seal to insure shelf life. The paint is very consistent, thick for tool applications, and easily spreadable for painting. The only suggestion I would make if you are painting barn quilts or using a base coat I would use an off white or gray base as the paint is a little translucent. Overall it is good quality paint at a good price. I would buy again based on my experience so far. ... show more

The colors seem diluted. When you paint with them you have to do several layers to get good color tone. Value is great for cheap crafting projects but not for quality paintings. Thin paint, but easy to use.

This was easily one of the worst acrylic paints I’ve ever tried. I thought I found a great deal, as I didn’t need anything too fancy or amazing quality, just some basic acrylic paints. I needed a large amount of decent quality acrylic paints to use as a base for my oil paintings- as doing the base layers in acrylic speeds the process along a lot quicker due to acrylics quick drying time- with this in mind, once these arrived I got started with my new painting. After prepping the canvas with what I wanted to be a solid plain color, after one layer, I could see some spots that were still very transparent. I figured I needed another layer so I did another layer, and again a spotty splotchy mess. I tried another layer and another layer hoping to achieve a solid color (other acrylic paints would’ve been a good enough result after two coats) and no matter how many layers I put it looked horrible. All I wanted was a solid all over color and they couldn’t even preform to do that. I can’t imagine using this to attempt any sort of detail… perhaps I got a bad batch, but these were truly awful and would not recommend. I suppose these would be good for children’s crafts or things of that sort, but any real use to create a nice end product, the paints I received would be nearly impossible to achieve anything nice with those. ... show more
