This doll took a while to arrive, but when she did, boy was she beautiful. This was a gift for our little girl. She absolutely loves this doll. The price point is ridiculously great! For the quality of this doll, for what you get for the price, you simply can not beat it! The body of the doll is soft and bendable. Our little girl even styled her hair into a pony tail. The hair is amazingly soft and full of bounce in her curls. The eyes are made so creatively, they show every detail of the eyes and lashes. Our little girl has several Ashton Drake dolls, which are four to six times the price of this doll, and this doll is on par with them, if not beating them! Especially on the price. Highly recommend! This is such an adorable baby doll with a cute outfit and beautiful eyes (that are painted on and remain permanently open). Though out of the box there were some uneven straight stray hairs that I had to fix, the overall durability of the doll has survived my 4 year old playing with it without any additional issues. Doll itself is nice but box it comes in not so much. Literally says black doll. I do not see other dolls say white doll. So unnecessary. The word is blocked in the picture but once you get it, it says black doll.

My two year old has several dolls but out of them all, this one shared the most features that she has, from hair type to complexion. It’s always great to find a doll that looks similar to her. I would love if the doll was a bit softer but the joints move pretty well. The best feature is the hair. It feels pretty real and I love that it can actually be styled. I ordered this to have something under the Christmas tree for my granddaughter, who lives out of town, and will be visiting this holiday with her parents. I thought it looked very cute and would be a nice addition to her rather diverse doll collection. (Plus, at about only one foot tall, it is not too bulky as an addition in the returning luggage.) I have to admit I had assumed the body might be made of something more solid, but had hoped the face was made out of a soft and ‘spongey’ rubber. But…alas…it is also made of hard rubber like her body. It is appealing in that it is very cute and realistic looking. It brought back a bit of nostalgia from my childhood when dolls were made with the kind of solid, rubber-like material which was firm but soft to the touch. The doll’s head, arms and legs pivot in their respective sockets… just like they did back in the good ole days. In my opinion, it is a great deal at the price and your daughter/granddaughter/niece…or whoever… will love this authentic looking doll. I really like it and think it would be appealing to anybody, especially to those who would like an ethnic aspect to their child’s doll collection. ... show more
