These controllers are so functional. You can't beat the price especially when it has rumble AND gyro built in. Other 3rd party controllers don't have these two features, which are very useful for me. Only thing it doesn't have is nfc but I never use it. Love the USB pass-through so you can charge while playing. Only issue is when you're playing and need to plug the USB cable in to charge, it will disconnect. You can quickly resolve it by putting the switch to sleep then wake it up again to get it to recognize the controllers again. This means you do not have to unplug and replug the cable, unlike what other reviewers mentioned. The connector is very stable and solid -- there are two clips on the side to hold the console. I have no issue with it being loose. I do not get disconnect errors unlike with my Joycons. The only thing I wish it has is a rubberized right stick. Only the left stick is rubberized. This is weird because they give you 3 swappable options for the right stick but all of them are smooth plastic, so your R thumb can easily slide off the stick due to lack of grip. Other buttons feel great -- face buttons feel Xbox/PS/Pro controllers, dpad is very clicky like the Joycons, which is what I prefer. I've been playing my Switch in handheld more since I got this. I wasn't expecting it to be so good, considering the price. The grips are thick and comfortable, the joysticks are smooth, and the motion controls are responsive. if I would criticize one thing, it's just that the triggers feel slightly cheap, plasticky, and loud. also, you'll probably want to switch out the right joystick for the concave one for better control. it's really easy to just twist off the joystick and swap it. I haven't seen any other controller pads with this option so it's nice to have. ... show more

The standard joycons were killing my hands (arthritis) so I tried this. I gave this a 4 star simply because it dies work a lot better, as in my hands don't cramp as badly, but instead leaves my hands feeling bruised where the larger part of the grip sets after just a few minutes of play time. If purchased for any other reason tho, it would probably get a 2 star, for a few reasons. You can't play while it's charging. It continually locks up and goes to pairing mode. The analog sticks click badly (so loud they cannot be used if relative quiet in the room is needed) and they tend to stick a bit when needed to be compressed to perform a function. Not smooth at all. And the - and + buttons generally need to be hit a couple of times before they respond. Definitely not good for any kind of online play where reaction time really needs to count, or even solo play if you really don't want to d!e, because it's definitely been the cause a time or two. ... show more

I bought this for my son's switch after the factory/original joysticks stopped working. He has had it now for roughly 2 months, and it is still working great. This is by far better than the original. It's sturdy and holds up to the abuse. Plus this is cheaper than buying the Nintendo controllers. The only downside is that if you plug and play on the TV, this controller will not work. I brought these because I noticed some problems with my joycons and I thought it was my switch but it really was just the joycons. I brought this to test em out and I was very impressed with the quality of the controller. It was very easy to connect with the switch and it feels good when playing it. You can change the joystick anytime and I really gonna give bonus points for that. Once you stick the switch in it, it stays in place and doesn’t come off even if you tried shaking it, the switch still stays and I have to say, it doesn’t feel cheap. This is an edited review In the original review I mentioned that this controller is very comfortable to hold and play for a long period of time, and I still stands by it. These ergonomic controller are much better on your hand than the standard switch controller. However, I encountered a defect with the ZR button shortly after. It seemed that the spring behind the button snapped after about 3 days of playing . I gave the product a low rating review due to the experience. Seeing that, the company reached out to me by themselves to rectify the issue. Not only did they send me a new controller (seem to be an updated model of the one I got) they also included an extra free controller. I definitely recommend this company to buy from if nothing for their customer service and willingness to stand behind their product alone. As long as the issue I encountered with the trigger button was (hopefully) an unlucky defect that I received originally, I would wholeheartedly recommended these as well for the comfort and value for your money (Pictured is the new set of controller that I was sent along with the freebie) ... show more

I want to start off by saying that this is a great product although I chose 3 stars I will give the reasons. To start off, I received the product on November 26, product feels great, durable and easy to plug and play. What I am unhappy with is, after 2 weeks the right analog (R3) begin to drift and get stuck when you face it to the left. I tried reaching out to the warranty department to see if I can get an analog replacement and I can take it apart and put together. The only problem is, when I go on their support and contact, it says call us or email us. I tried sending an email and calling but when you click the 2 options it just refreshes the app without giving you a contact info. I do not want to do a return and buy something else as this is perfect for kids. It’s durable, light, and fits perfectly. If you can reach out to me before January so I don’t have to do a return I would really appreciate it. ... show more
