This matched our theme for our Christmas photoshoot and baby was born just after. For her newborn shoot I wanted her "outfit" to match our previous color scheme. Color is exact as pictured. Bow fits newborns head exactly. The wrap is very thin. Not see through, but very light. I only planned on using it for the shoot so it was perfect for my needs. I wouldn't use it to keep baby warm in winter or anything. Might be a nice summer blankie, but not sure how it would hold up. It isn't very big like a muslin blankets, and the pattern is only on one side (as they mention in the details themselves) but it's good to know. So it's more "unfinished" in that way. But again, looking for something cute to take pictures of baby in or for a newborn photoshoot. I recommend it HIGHLY for those purposes! When you see my newborn shoot photo, you'll agree. I was hesitant about this purchase because I wasn’t sure how quality would come out.. I ended up buying 2 more in different patterns because I loved it so much. We used this while in the hospital as soon as our daughter was born and got so many compliments. I really like this swaddle and headband, the colors are very pretty. My baby hasn't come yet so I don't know if the headband will fit a newborn or not, but I'm excited for when she comes

Absolutely lovely ♥️ We used this set for newborn photos. The fabric is lightweight and soft. There's not a whole lot of fabric though--a swaddle blanket is larger. But you can still wrap a newborn baby up in it.

I bought this for newborn photos, and for the price I thought I was taking a gamble. But oh my word, the swaddle and boy are THE softest fabric ever and really is quality made! The bow fit my 8lbs newborn’s Head with no problem and she can still wear it now, 3 months later.

Blanket is very thin, but looks as pictured. Great to use to swaddle; the headband is too large for a preemie so have not been able to use.
